I gained consciousness when I felt something warm wiping my arms. My eyes slowly fluttered opened and I saw the familiar ceiling of Levi's. Why was I here?
"Thank God, I was getting scared"
I glanced down at the voice and met the brown orbs of my brother, shining with worry as he equally stared at me. He brought his hand up and pressed his palm against my forehead, I tried to ignore the tingles that spread through me from his touch.
"Your fever is gone" he smiled and I found myself enchanted, spellbound. At least he could still smile in our situation.
I ignored his complaint and slowly sat upright, my back pressed against the wall. I could feel the ache in my bones, pinches everywhere, and twinge.
"Why am I here, Levi?" I felt my throat clenched painfully, it was painful and scorched.
