37 ~ No Such Thing as Fairytales

Young had hoped Asha was still sleeping when he got back to her apartment, but instead he was bombarded by her anxious cleaning. That could only mean one thing, something had happened to stress her out and he had an inkling that it had something to do with that officer and his fishing expedition. If it wasn’t for Asha spotting him lurking, stilling her movements to stare him down with her hands in clenched fists on her hips, he would’ve popped back over to wherever the officer was and introduced him to Blood.

Unfortunately, his soulmate looked like she was ready to draw blood by any means necessary. That did not bode well for the plans he had for them.
