Chapter 73
Samantha Point of view
Everyone wanted to talk to me about what happened in the village but after Rai left, I didn't feel like talking at all. I ignored them and went straight into my room without saying a word. The next day, Xavier and my parents tried to talk to me but I told them I didn't want to talk about it. I didn't want to think about it. I want time to stop. I want my problems to stop and just let me have a day where I can just be at peace.
I walked outside and sat on the bench near my house. I looked at the pathway that leads to the village. I thought of walking around but walking around in the village was a bad idea. After the public drama Bruce made, I don't even know when I'm ready to show my face to them.

Samantha Point of view My heart stopped and immediately turned around to see black fur that is similar to a gorilla. I look up and I see a monster 5x times the size of a normal gorilla with his huge dark hands and claws on the tree I was leaning on. Samantha Point of view I couldn't stop staring at his face because I thought I was imagining his face on someone else. I was watching for his face to morph into someone else. But thinking about it now, there is no one else that could fight monsters like him. "Rai."He looked up when I called him then looks back down to see if I'm injured anywhere else. The monster was able to regenerate its lost body part. As it was regenerating, he retracted his arm back to his body and gave a deep frown. Samantha Point of view I wasn't able to get a good night sleep. I was turning and changing position most of the night just because I was anxious on what was going to happen tomorrow. I got up several times to get some water and paced around the house to try to get myself tired enough to sleep. I would always look out the window thinking about how he was. Wondering if his father found out that Rai lied. What if he was already tied up or locked away and couldn't get out. I bit my nails as I stared up to the night sky and I prayed that he would be okay.
