Mom sat there with her head in her hands, facing towards the table instead of me. She was trying to wrap her head around the fact that her old friend came back and sent her son to kill her daughter and has apparently creating experiments that were dangerous enought to kill us.
We stayed like that in silence as I waited for her to speak. She sighed loudly and removed her hands from her face. She clamps her hands together and rests them flat on the table. She turns her head to me with more composure than the state she was in a few minutes ago. She asks me with a calming tone, "What else?"
