The morning has been going great for me, I woke up to a text from Rowan wishing me a good morning and saying other sweet things. After that, the kids and I had breakfast with Mom and Theo before I left them at home to the office.

I have plans for today, one is to check for a better nursery for the kids, and then check the houses my realtor pointed out for me.

This morning I just want to go through some company files, and spend the rest of the day doing the others.

My head was buried in the file I was going through when someone knocked on the door.

I frowned, I don’t think I have any meetings with anyone today. If I did, Giselle would have told me as soon as I stepped into the office.

Knock. Knock.

The knock came again, and I closed the file.

“Come in,” I said.

The door opened revealing Giselle, who poked her head in with a troubled look on her face. I know that look; that was the same way she was looking when she came in to tell me about Jackson standing outs
