Five Years Later,

Stacy alighted from the cab in a hurry, her heart filled with anticipation. She couldn't wait to see her little boy. She paid the cab man and the car drove off immediately.

She stared at the school building, a familiar feeling settling within her. As a dutiful and loving mother to her son, every day she'd drop him off at school, ensuring to give him the best education just like she had promised.

As Stacy walked into her son's school, she was met with a grave expression on the principal's face. Her heart sank, sensing that something was amiss. Her steps lessened as she got to the principal.

"Good day, Mrs. Johnson," she chuckled awkwardly as she knew what was already awaiting her.

The principal led Stacy to her office and offered her a seat. Gently, Stacy sat down as she prepared herself for what lay ahead.

They exchanged formalities and the next words Mrs. Johnson uttered made Stacy's heart sink.
