CHAPTER 12-He Longs For Her

Stacy went to Caden's school as soon as it was time for their closure. She had spent enough time with Roland, chit-chatting with him and she had even helped him with attending to a few customers.

But when it was time for her to pick up her son, she wasted no time in vacating the club, rushing to Caden's school.

Caden was thrilled when he saw her as she had made it clear that Roland might be the one to pick him up from school. He was expecting Roland, not her. But, when he saw his Mother entering the class, his joy knew no bounds.

"Momma, you look tired," Caden pointed out as they entered the house. They had just disembarked from the taxi they boarded and Stacy had paid the taxi man off.

"Oh, do I?" Stacy pulled his cheeks and he giggled. She helped him out of his bag while Caden peeled off his clothes himself.

"You know what to do next, right?" She asked and he nodded before scurrying away.

Stacy smiled and made her way to the kitchen. She hadn't had enough time to prepare lunch
