Ella was startled when she heard the almost begging tone from Daniel. She even looked at her phone to confirm whether she was speaking to the right person, or if she was imagining things.

“Can we, talk.” She heard the man continue, and she was clearly stunned.

But Ella did not want to entertain the man as she did not know what he was up to so, she went direct to the point, “Aren’t we talking right now, what is matter, Master Edmond.”

“You can call me by my name Ella, there is no need to be polite with me.” Daniel grimaced.

When Ella heard the man, she sneered. “But don’t you like to be called like that, or am I mistaken?”

When he heard her, Daniel hissed in frustration. He remembered how he had instructed her to never call him by his first name, and now he was thoroughly regretting it.

“No, you can call me whatever you want. Have you had dinner yet?” He asked. He had no intentions of ending the call as he still wanted to hear her voice.
