Cedric…?" Paige drawled unamused by the situation that Cedric was creating, "What are you doing right now? You can't just randomly invite my guest to your party without my consent!"

"Yes, I can and I'm going to do it. Besides, it's not a big deal, right Mr Rain?" He glanced at the man who was staring at the couple in bewilderment,

"Yes, it's not a big deal and I don't mind the invitation at all," Mr Rain answered, which was a bad idea in Paige's book. She knew exactly what Cedric was doing and she didn't want to give him the platform to do that.

But it was kind of too late,

"Besides, " Mr Rain continued, I told you that I want to get to know you more, so maybe this will be a perfect opportunity for that," He smiled as he admitted his thoughts to Paige who immediately stole a glance at Cedric and almost laughed when she saw the seething annoyance on his face.
