Rogue Nation

Malcolm POV

I looked to my phone and grinned wide leaning back into my chair. It was a fantastic ending to my miserable week. I had to kill three of my informants because they didn't want to put their Luna's at risk. I scoffed. Idiots. Didn't they realize that if we had those two, then we could come out of these pathetic shadows and be rulers of the weak humans who had hunted and still hunt us. My Goddess. Lucky for me my informent in the Forrest Lake turned out to be quite useful. He sent me the DNA results of the paternity test of their Luna's babies. I smiled when I saw that. I always suspected that the Strongs would be involved. I first thought that it was the grandkids of Alpha Strong but the idiots brought me the two boys instead of the youngest boy and the girl. I was so mad. So I didn't care that they got caught and tortured to death. Then that stinky witch said that she could predict if they would come from the Strong bloodline she just needed some of their blood. So I let her do what she had to. Damn woman got herself killed before she had the chance to do the spell. I guess that's what you get for killing the mate of an Alpha Strong. I did however keep my eye on the Strongs for the next five years. Now I'm quite glad I did.

Turns out the witch was right. The Alpha's daughter married the Alpha of Forrest Lake and produced twins but not before she slept with her chosen and ended up having faternal twins concieved of the different mates. I chuckled to myself. I stood up and headed downstairs. To be the Alpha of a Rogue pack you have to be stronger and more ruthless than the rest. That is what I am. All in my pack fear me for they know I don't hesitate.

"Beta!" I yelled as soon as I was downstairs. He quickly came to my side.

"Yes, Alpha?"

"I've found those of legend. They are at Forrest Lake. Send out several small parties weeks apart to assess their strength, wards, and defense. I want to be able to get in their as soon as they are born. They are to be ours," I instucted him.

"Yes, Alpha," he nodded as he headed out to do as I command.

Does it stink not to be able to mind link. Yes, but that just means I get to do it in person and show off my fierceness. I smiled. Man I love being me. I headed out of the pack house, which use to belong to a pack that was wiped out. It took many years to rebuild the homes and land nearby, but it was worth it. I created a place for those who didn't belong to belong. I'm glad I got kicked out of my pack. Now she'll be my revenge. I smiled to myself. Oh how the irony.

What I always found intersting was the fact that when my rogues attacked no one ever thought they belonged to a pack. Especially one that lived on past pack lands. The houses are newer and sectioned of into quadrants. We don't only have werewolves in our pack but Vampires, Witches, Nymphs and even, half breeds. I have heads of each quadrant but all answer to me. I have fights here and there but I allow them. Helps me weed out the weak and hopeless. Those that win the fights are always rewarded with higher rankings with in the pack.

I went to the edge of our "territory" stripped and decided to join the first group of scouts. I needed to see and smell for myself. I quickly joined them, they started to part but I growled letting them know that I was to remain in the back. Jackson earned his right to lead this party, I wasn't about to take it away from him. Well, until he screws up. As we approached Forrest Lake we split up into groups of two, the first party was to determine their defenses. I headed off to the Pack house. I needed to see her. I needed to see my target. No mistakes this time around.
