CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN

ALAANA'S POV

“What deal did William make with my Father?” I kept asking myself since the incident happened.

Someone trying to poison William was a serious case, it was a case no one could just let go off. And William had been quiet about it.

I need to know what deal it was, I have to confirm from my father. I stood up from the chair I have been sitting on and walked straight to my Father's chamber.

On getting there he was alone, sitting at the chair in his office. I walked towards his direction. It seems he was lost in thought because he didn't move or flinch when I entered.

“Father” I tapped him on his shoulder to let him know that I was there.

“You look lost in thought Father” I said,”What's wrong?” I asked hoping he would tell me about it, I was sure it was about the deal he made with William.

He took a deep breath before answering “It's nothing” he answered.

“Hmmm…What deal did you and William have?” I asked in a cool and calmed voice. “ What kind of deal did you and William have?
