“Today is the day that the wealthiest man in the country is going to bring me home. What am I supposed to do? I’m not going to go back again, now that I’m reliving the past.”

James Swift mumbled in a daze.

Suddenly, he looked at me and passed the emblem to me.

“Finneas, you’ll help me, right? Please go on my behalf!”

I looked at the bread that fell onto the ground in pity. I picked it up and continued eating it without a care.

James looked disdainful.

Suddenly, some words flashed before my eyes.

[The supporting character doesn’t know that the main character has just returned to the past, right? In the past, James returned to his wealthy family, but his parents did not care about him. Instead, the fake son that they raised was favored by his parents.]

[In order to return to his wealthy family, James dumped the female main character. Many years later, the female main character bankrupted his family and humiliated him.]

I stared at the words that were floating before me in a daze. Then, I immediately saw that James was supposed to be from a wealthy family.

It meant that I could have whatever food I wanted in the future, and I no longer had to live a poor life.

I said excitedly, “I’ll help you.”

James looked puzzled.

However, the cars that his father sent had arrived. He pushed me out without any hesitation.

Many sports cars appeared before me. They were even more luxurious than what I had seen on TV. It was finally my time to be blessed with a good life.

James pushed me forward and said in disdain, “You look so pathetic. The wealthiest man and his family only have money; they don’t have any love for you. That family will only force you to spend money like a madman.”

Tears of joy immediately gushed out as I was over the moon.

‘What a niche hobby! Please force me to spend money!’ I thought.

His parents saw the emblem in my hand when they got out of the car. They helped me to wipe my tears away.

When Mary Swift hugged me, I felt the cold surfaces of her jewelry, which was worth millions of dollars, pressing against my skin.

Mary took out a bank card from her bag. “You must have had a tough life all these years. Here is ten million dollars. If you don’t spend it all, we won’t let you come home.”

Adam Swift took out a stack of transfer agreements. “These mansions and cars belong to you. You can do whatever you want in the future. I have enough money to take care of you.”

I took the gifts delightedly as I secretly counted the amount of money.

[I’m jealous. When will my parents humiliate me with money like this?]

[Hey, did you see that Adam and Mary don’t even want him to work? They favor the fake son and want to leave all their resources to him.]

[Just wait and see, when he sees the fake son, the supporting male character will start behaving.]

James smiled and leaned in. He said, “Aren’t you terrified? I’m telling you that even if you’re regretting this, it’s too late.”

I looked at him gratefully before following his parents into their Lincoln.

There were a lot of expensive snacks in the car. I was eating them by the handful.

As expected, after I ate more than a dozen snacks, Mary could not stand it anymore.

She looked at me in disgust. “As expected, you can’t compare to Theo. That makes sense because I wasn’t the one who raised you.”

Everyone was waiting to see me make a fool out of myself.

I pinched my thigh and forced myself to cry. “Mom, to tell you the truth, I haven’t eaten anything in three days. I’m too hungry, so I can’t control myself.

“In the future, I’ll learn from Theo. Please don’t disown me.”

Adam teared up and patted my head while holding back his disgust. “I’m sorry that you suffered in the past. No one will disown you from the Swift family.”

He took off his Rolex out of guilt and put it on my wrist.

[Oh my God! This watch is one of a kind, and it’s worth hundreds of millions of dollars. In the past, James couldn’t even get it after many attempts.]

[Finneas is really shameless. He doesn’t even have any dignity, unlike James. At least James has a backbone.]

James and I belonged to the same orphanage. He was aloof and cold, whereas I was lazy and greedy.

I could not turn down money over dignity.
