"If you cheat on me, I'll snip your d*ck off… Like snip-snip-"
The woman with auburn waist-long hair and light brown eyes tossed the script containing some lyrics at the handsome man sitting in the corner of the studio, bobbing his shaggy ink-black hair while he listened to his music on full blast.
"Minji, are you insane?" The man shifted his headphones. "I worked hard on those-" But before he could finish his statement, the woman pulled out the cords of his headphones.
"Asshole! Do you feel like dying today?" She swished her long locks over her slender exposed shoulders. Her loud voice halted everyone that was practicing in the room. "What is this garbage? Snip-snip?" She tapped her foot continuously, till everyone else but the 'asshole' had left in a scurry. "Listen to me Sochun-"
"I don't see what the problem is. You said you wanted to sound dirty and sexy." The man got off the floor and dusted his pants off. "I worked really hard on those." He smiled gleefully–exposing deep dimples on the sides of his cheek–at Minji, who was inches away from choking him.
"And nothing sounds sexier than telling men I want to snip their dicks off." She paced around the room, twiddling her hair between her fingers.
"You always say it to me..." He scratched the back of his neck and playfully winked at Minji.
"And I just might one of these days." Minji paused to hiss at him, then she continued to pace around the room. Minji nibbled on her nails, clearly agitated as she thought of a solution to her undisclosed predicament.
"Listen, babe… I can-" Sochun began to speak, but Minji waved him away, dismissing him like always.
"No, you can't. You're such an idiot. You had one job Sochun, did you even confer with your father?" She stomped her foot aggravatedly. Sochun knew better than to provoke her when she got testy, but she had been barking at him all month for the stupid lyrics, but when he finally wrote them, she threw them in his face. He could not please this woman anyhow he tried.
"Why would I confer with my father?" Sochun crossed his arms and rested against the wall. Looking nonchalant and unbothered. "Why are you even bringing up that bastard?"
Minjin could not care less what relationship Sochun had, or did not have with his father, she only wanted results. "Maybe because that bastard produced Korea's number one solo artist. Why the hell am I even dating you?" She threw her hands up in the air "Ugh! Sochun, the talent show rehearsal is tomorrow. You're such an asshole. What am I going to do?" She squatted down and covered her head with her arms, presumably sobbing. Sochun let out a loud sigh, he wondered why he could not resist Minji's cute act, even though seconds ago she had called him an idiot several times.
"I'll fix it." Sochun knelt by her side and stroked her back lovingly. Minjin shot up like a spark.
"Really? You'll talk to your father?" She beamed. How could he resist this gorgeous devil of a woman? He nodded solemnly, well he could just force someone else to write the lyrics and say his father took a look at it. "You promise right?" Minji kissed him repeatedly on his cheek.
"Was it even that bad? You know I spent all night working on it." Minji paused from planting kisses and took a step back after hearing his words.
"All night? You had a month, you loser!" She raised her arms and smacked it on his face. And another, and another. "I ought to kill you, are you trying to ruin me?" She pushed him over and straddled him.
"Is this a new type of foreplay?" He grinned at Minjin, who was turning red with rage.
"I thought you were just an untalented fuck, but to think you're a lazy prick as well. Ugh, I wish your father had other sons." Minjin got off him. "Foreplay my ass." She seethed.
"If you insist." Sochun grabbed Minjin's butt, and in retaliation, she lightly kicked him in his side.
"I'm not joking dickhead. If you don't fix this..." She paused to think of a punishment. "No sex for a month." She smiled slyly in his face.
"Oh… I'm hurt, how would I survive without boning my girlfriend, who is only using me to get to my father, for a month," and Minjin slapped his head in response to his sarcasm. He bent forward and laughed at what he thought was a perfect riposte. He knew she'd get angry all the time like this, and bark "no sex," but the next morning she would be chasing him around begging for it.
"Then no sex for four months." She hissed. "Now you're in the dog house." Minji flipped her hair in his face. She was through with his bullshit. Was he trying to sabotage her?
"Wait, I was kidding. You know I love you, my sweet Minjin, my darling Minjin. An absolute beauty. I would do anything for you." He raced to throw his arms around his girlfriend, whispering sweet-nothings in her ears. Minji struggled out of his embrace. Sochun continued whispering sweet-nothings into her ears, and the entire ordeal was getting Minji worked up. Sochun knew she had sensitive ears and took pleasure in using her weakness against her, but not this time. She was not letting him off the hook with 'sweet-nothings'; this talent show was going to put her on the map, she would not let anyone ruin it for her.
"Then speak to your father about this trash you wrote and get me killer lyrics so I can destroy those wannabe-hacks at the talent show." Minjin pushed him off her, her eyes flickered with passion and determination. "I have no use for a man that can't do such a simple job." She turned towards the door, to see a bunch of people gathered to watch their usual boyfriend-girlfriend antics. Minjin sighed and walked back towards Sochun and knelt by his side. "Now hurry up and kiss me before those gossip-hungry-chickens think we're fighting." She inched closer to his lips. There was no need to ruin their power-couple image just yet, she still needed Sochun for a lot more than just his father.
Sochun stared at her lovely, peach-coloured lips inching closer to his. Plump and slick with her favourite lipgloss. "How could I ever say no." He grinned before pressing his lips against hers.
***THE NEXT DAY***
Doona rubbed her arms, her mother had squeezed and hugged her so much she was certain all the blood stopped flowing into them. She thanked the driver, who had taken her from the airport to her new apartment. Doona stepped out of the car and set the booth ajar, she then reached in and pulled out her suitcase; thankful that all of her other belongings had already been sent to her apartment, days ahead of her arrival.
"Miss would you like me to help you bring up your suitcase?" Doona watched the man's hands move towards her luggage, and instinctively she pulled her hands away. She prostrated once more to show her appreciation and thanked him with a kind smile.
"No, that won't be necessary. I'm… I mean, I will take it up myself." Doona rubbed her palms together. She tried to maintain eye contact, but her eyes darted around her surroundings. "If you don't mind, I'll be going now." She then pointed to her suitcase still being held by the driver, to which he responded with a cheery smile and waved her goodbye.
"Certainly, I'm sure a lady of your stature could handle this easily." He beamed, scratching his head before he stepped back into his taxi and drove away. Doona stared at the suitcase handle, then she proceeded to pull it behind her.
"Of my stature? What is that supposed to me?" Doona furiously tapped in her pin and pushed the entrance door open. Then she located the elevator and pushed on the button for the fourth floor. With no one around her, she looked at herself in the elevator mirror "Did I put on weight again?" Doona thought and sighed at her reflection. "I have been stress eating since the incident." she tapped her belly. "But things will be different, things will get better." She beamed at herself when suddenly the door slid open, and a man stood at the entrance.

"I have been stress eating since the incident." she tapped her belly. "But things will be different, things will get better." She beamed at herself when suddenly the door slid open, and a man stood at the entrance.---The man had on a denim jacket and wore a beige turtleneck underneath. He stared fixedly at his phone and took his earphone out of one ear when he asked Doona, "are you going down?" Doona held her hands close to her chest and squealed out a forced response."I'm going up... Up! You can take the next one." She quickly reached over to press the button to shut the doors; stabbing it multiple times. The man watched Donna's er
"Oh, shiiiiiiiit!!!!!" Sochun eyes widened, and he rushed towards his jacket at the corner of the room. "Crap! Where are my shoes?" Sochun looked around the space, pushing the women and his drunk friends off their seats. "Minji will kill me if I even miss a second." He dashed towards the door while he typed a text message to his girlfriend to tell her he was on his way."Wait! Who is going to pay for all this?" A lady called from behind Sochun. So he walked back into the room and smiled sweetly at her."Just put it on my tab. My father will cover it." And with that, Sochun made a quick getaway towards the street to catch a taxi.Crap!---Minji looked around the venue. The private rehearsal had been overrun by her fans and wannabe-followers; she did not mind. How would she become Korea's number-one, if she did not have fans flooding every venue she performed at. She paced backstage and peered out to see
"You better pray it isn't Yi Chihun… That boy works all day and night. So who knows when he will be back. I don't even know how he gets any school work done." And as Mrs. Matron mentioned school, a tiny bomb exploded in Doona's head. Her eyes widened, and she got fidgety."I'm late for my registration." She hopped quickly towards the elevator, stabbing the open button. "Oh no. If they tell mum, she will kill me."---"Are you Ae Doona?" A man wearing thick-rimmed glasses seated crossed-legged on his desk asked. Doona's breath hitched. "Can you not hear me?" He got off the table and started to walk towards Doona."I can hear fine," Doona screamed loud enough that the other professors in the office turned to see who was making all the noise."Fine, fine. You don't need to yell." The man turned away from Doona and sat back behind his desk. "Sit down. You're the new transfer student. I'll be handling
Her palms began to sweat, and when Sochun's lips curled into that all-too-familiar grin, she knew she had to get away from here. She pushed at his chest, trying her best to wrestle out of his grip. But unlike when they were kids, his grip was ten times stronger."If it isn't Ae Doodie..." Sochun whispered coyly at her. "I told you that if you ever return to Busan I'd r*pe you." his voice laced with malice forced Doona's eyes to tear up, and her teeth chattered uncontrollably.---Sochun eyed her up and down, sneering as he tightened his grip around her shirt. "You're still as ugly as ever. And you still have this freaking stupid haircut." He let go of her shirt and gripped her hair, to which Doona let out a yelp. "What aren't you going to cry for help, as you did before." Sochun pulled her hair tightly. Doona wrapped her hands around his wrist and dug her finger into his hands, but his grip only tightened. The crowd g
"It's fine, just hand me my jacket." He reached out his hand, and Doona slightly flinched. Chihun placed his hands at his sides and then reached them forward, and Doona immediately moved backwards again… What. In. The. Hell? He thought. "Are you scared of me?"Doona's eyes quickly darted around till they accidentally locked with Chihun's. His kind dark-brown eyes bored into hers, and Doona felt herself break into a cold sweat. "N...n-n-n...no." she sporadically muttered.---Sochun pulled his phone out of his pocket. He was going to pop a blood vessel, with how much he was fuming. How many years had it been since he had seen that mushroom topped woman? He thought to himself. "Was Ae Doodie, the thing that that old bastard needed help with?" He scoffed at himself. He dialled his father's cell phone and paced round the bus stop irritatedly. "And the gall of that Chihun asshole. It is bad enough that he is obsesse
"I said I don't hate anyone." She shouted at him. Then her eyes widened again. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." she bowed repeatedly. Was she tame or wild? Chihun could not figure her out. Doona began to walk, and Chihun followed quietly behind her, till a thought crept into his mind."Are you scared of men?" Right as he spoke those words, Doona froze. Chihun turned to see why Doona was not moving. She just stood still, her hands began to fidget, and she rubbed them fiercely. "I'm sorry. Did I say something wrong?" Chihun tried to walk up to her, but Doona yelled back shrilly."Stay back. I'm...I'm fine."---Chihun stepped back after hearing her scream at him. What a mess, he thought. This is why he hated getting involved with people. "Fine, fine." He held his hands up, to prove to her that he was no threat, and he only started walking when he made sure she was a good distance away from him. When they arrive
"You're lucky you're this gorgeous." He got off the couch and pulled out the first-aid kit from the cupboard. "Now let me see those toes?" Minji huffed and looked away from Sochun, as he counted her toes. "I think one is missing?" Sochun gasped."Crap really?" Minji looked at her feet… "asshole." She playfully fisted his hair and shook his head. "Patch me up, and pray this wound heals before the actual talent show.""Yes, yes my beautiful, pretty, talented Minmin." Sochun beamed at Minji, who tossed another pillow in his face.---Doona laid in her bed. The morning sun pierced her clenched eyes and made her turn away from the window. "I should have put up my curtains before going to sleep." Just as she buried her face in her pillow, the second alarm began to ring loudly. "Fine, fine. I'm up." She searched for her phone to turn off the blasted alarm. She had a psychology class she was already running thir
"Are they going to fight?" "Jiwoon started it..." "I thought Chihun sat at the front of the class, why is he at the back?" The class was suddenly filled with murmurs and whispers, everyone had stopped packing up to stare at the two of them."What is happening back there?" The professor slammed the board."Nothing professor. Just packing up." Chihun smiled at the man before he picked up Doona's bag and walked out of the classroom, leaving a fuming Jiwoon behind.---In a hurry to get out of her Psych class–and away from Jiwoon–Doona had foolishly forgotten her bag, books and even her phone. Now she was lost and turning her head around in circles. Being this exposed was dangerous, Doona could not risk bumping into Sochun again, she would really be dead. Maybe I should hide in the toilet, she thought as she looked around every corner before scurrying into the lady's room. Doona met an unexpected face.
