I watched him walk closer and closer to me with every step filled with eagerness and desire and in the next minute I found myself being placed gently on the large comfy bed - our matrimonial bed..

My hands drugged into his skin as he moved his way into my cave - this I had craved for a long long time after his business trip..

He placed a kiss on my neck to increase the tension and desire as that was my very weak point and in the next minute we both released out as though it was a planned work - but I never suspected anything until now…

After our love making or rather baby making, George excused himself to meet with his best friend out in the living room and I stayed back to put back on my clothes..

Then I decided to get the gentleman some drinks and as I walked towards the living room with the tray of drinks in hand I overheard a statement from Brian, George's best pal.

“Don't tell me that is true..how can you be this heartless?” That statement alone made me so eager to hear more and I just couldn't help but wonder curiously what exactly George did that was so heartless..

I decided to listen further and I heard George's reply..

“Rory has always been a tool for all I needed, and besides if we had those kids they would be illegitimate because the marriage certificate between I and Rory, is a fake!!”

His reply got me startled and I wondered if it was indeed the man I married. My ever charming husband now seemed to be more of an asshole and a jerk…

Our lovely seven years of marriage now looked like a big waist of time and resources, as I had resigned from my job just to be with him and I also didn't hesitant when he asked me to get involved with him in a hidden marriage and I had seen it to be a great way to finally get closer to him.

In the seven years of my hidden marriage, I had conceived five children with each one of them stillborn.

"You killed Rory Mason's five children just to provide specimens for Brittney Maron’s medical experiments? Are you seriously okay? Those were your own flesh and blood!" Brian continued..

"Brittney is loves everything about her research. I don’t know much about medicine, so the best I can do is be her strongest supporter and give her whatever she needs. I really don't want to disappoint her!” George's voice remained indifferent, as if the topic had nothing to do with him.

“But you know very much that Rory loves you and you will indeed regret this!” Brian said. He's tone was indeed filled with anger and impatience as though he could tear George off that minute.

“As long as I can marry Brittney in grand style then I won't be regretting any of it, because I never planned to have kids with Rory but she wanted them so I let her have them for fun..and I wasn't actually going to let them live..!” George replied with chilling ignorance in his tone.

“You must be under a spell!” Brain spat..

“I and Brittney will be having in three days so I'll like for you to be there and celebrate with us in total happiness and delight. Don't do anything silly, Brian so you don't get on my nerves.” Goerge said with a cold smirk.

The tears in my eyes flowed down freely even though I tried had to stop them and before I could turn away George turned and looked at me.

His eyes were filled with surprise and concern as he rushed towards me..

“What's wrong, Rory? When did you get here? Why are you crying in this way?” He asked..

“It's nothing, I think something got into my eyes and it really hurts but I'll be fine. It'll get out soon!” I lied!

I didn't want him to have a clue that I was eavesdropping in their conversation and this made me remember why and how I fell in love with George in the first place..

We met at a cafe where I worked and one night I got assaulted by some street robbers and they left with my hand bag containing my daily earnings and I was left with nothing under the moon light..but then..

George swooshed in like a real superhero. He parked his motorcycle a little distance away from where I stood and I was quite surprised when he handed me my bag back..

He handed me his business card and thats when everything started - My nightmare of seven years with five stillborn babies and one still in my womb developing…

But now I knew the truth that the man I loved was nothing more than a cold and bestial executioner. And I was nothing more than a tool who had loved him blindly and foolishly..

_____

When I returned back to our bedroom I couldn't stop thinking about why on earth I got entangled with a Mafian like him in the first place. Of course what did I expect? A happy ending? Uhh…Never!!

He once told me that he would always shelter my needs and be my protector against the storms of life. That he would guard me for the rest of my days, hold me as close to him as ever, I believed him.

I gave him my body, my heart, my soul…

He feared that marrying a woman from a infamous and humble background would affect the reputation of the of the Blackstone Clan.

Every time I found out I was pregnant, George would brighten up like a child, shouting with excitement that he was going to be a father. He would hold me in his arms with total concern…and love..

His joy was indeed infectious…

Afraid that I would be stressed out, he personally hired private doctors that specialized in the wellbeing of pregnant women, to use general anesthesia, ensuring I wouldn’t feel any pain in the child birth.

And every time, he stayed by my side, watching over me as if I were his most precious treasure.

I believed he cared about me. I thought he cared about our babies, but in reality, he was merely making it easier for himself to strangle our child with his own hands—to provide a specimen for his beloved…. Brittney.

And I foolishly believe his words everytime I lost a child. I blamed myself, I had thought my body was too weak, too incapable of carrying a child and I felt my womb was weak.

I grieved over every stillborn, burdened with guilt, apologizin

g to him for my failures. But now I realize that, I was nothing but a joke….

Rony rushed into the hospital like a mad woman not caring whether or not it was a hospital, all she wanted was to find Rory as soon as she could or else she would totally go mad.“Where's she?” She screamed at the attendant in the hospital lobby to the extent that her voice attracted some doctors and nurses.“Hello ma'am, please calm down. How may I help you?” The attendant asked politely but Rony wasn't ready for such nonsense. Her goal was to find Rory only.“I said, where the hell is she? I want to know now unless I will burn up this building.” Rony yelled out again at the top of her voice and a lot of people began to gather to find out what was going on.The attendant frowned helplessly as she stared at Rony as if she were an alien, but still Rony didn't care.“I don't know who you are talking about, ma'am. Please calm down so you can explain.” The attendant replied and Rony bit her lower lip in anger.“Fine!” She said and took a breath in and out. “I will explain.” She took out h

“I really need to go, Rony.” Rory said as she picked up her purse from the glass table in the living room.“Why don't you just go to a clinic? First of all it'll be cheaper, secondly I have a bad feeling about you going over there “ Rony replied as she followed behind Rory. Her mind just didn't accept the fact that Rory decided to go to the hospital alone without her tagging along for her safety.“Are you like my bodyguard now? Don't worry about me, Rony. I'll be fine.” Rory said as she patted Rony’s shoulders to reassure her that she would be safe.“Fine but call me when you get there, okay?” Rony finally obliged and wrapped her hands around Rory for a tight hug.“Okay, I will. Let me go quickly before I run too late for work.” Rory replied and pushed Rony away slightly, then she rushed out of the apartment and into the busy road as she waited in for a cab.Thankfully, she got one within five minutes and started her journey to the hospital at the outskirts of Chicago which was basica

“It's morning Linda, wake up!” Rory said as she opened the curtains to allow the rays of the bright sun penetrate into the small room.Linda stretched out her limbs and sat up with a yawn.“Good morning, mom.” She said without turning to face her.“Are you still mad at me, sweetie?” Rory walked over to her and cupped her face.“Mommy just needs you to know that she loves you dearly, okay?” Rory said and squinted her eyes slightly to firm a smile, but in reality she was trying to fight her tears from falling right in front of Linda.But..Linda noticed.“Don't cry mom, it's okay. “I really want you back, Rory. And I mean it. I mean every word.” He repeated and Rory could only laugh ironically.“You said what?” She couldn't still believe that he could have the nerves to come to her house just to tell her that he still wanted her.“I mean every word, my love.” He said to show his sincerity, but that could never move the new Rory.“First of, don't you ever call me that, second, I don't really care about you anymore George so why don't you go cuddle your doctor wife, huh?” She wrapped her arms to her chest as she breathed out the words not caring whether or not it would hurt him. “And for the record, I'm no longer the naive Rory I was before, so if you check the email I sent to you a long time ago you'd find out that I now know everything, George. Everything!” She added and turned around to walk back into the house but his words stopped her and she was forced to turn back around.“So is that why you are with him? “Where were you?” He asked the minute she walked into her small bag in her hand. She had an unusually happy smile on her face that made George silently want to vomit..Her face was of a million expressions but the most evident one was the grin on her face - the contained both sadness, happiness, and the long awaited smirk as she walked towards him.Great, he thought as much she was just pretending because only he knew her so very well.“Yes, yes. I went to see the fair queen.” Britney said and walked casually past George, but he held her back.“What are you planning, Britney?” He pulled her close to him so her eyes could be under his.“Let go of me, George.” Britney demanded but George definitely was never letting her off his grip as he knew what she was capable of.“Tell me, Britney.
