Even in the next morning not one person set eyes on Mpumi since the previous day. Mpumi did not return home. The children continued questioning their dad if he knew why Mpumi did not return home.

Dave managed to beg Dion into going to church with him. They were all dressed and prepared to leave the house. Dave was worried, “She won’t be at church,” he was complaining to Dion. “She said she would come. She said she would come!”
