"If she accepts your company back, will you take Eirik Jones as your real son in law this time around?" I asked him.

Thalia's dad pinned me with his gaze. "Why do you suddenly ask about the state of your brother in my home?"

"I know everything that happened, sir. I was the one who provided Thalia those documents that made her take the bold step of divorcing my brother. But no, I am not saying this in his defence." I explained.

He kept looking at me. "Then, why? I wouldn't be surprised because you both are brothers. You may have helped Thalia but what if you want something else?"

"You don't hate Eirik, do you?"

He shook his head, "I have never hated Eirik —"

"Why were you against his marriage with your daughter at that time?"

"Because I knew the kind of boy your father brought up."

My eyes widened slightly. "You knew our father?" He nodded, "That means you have always known my family, that Eirik Jones has a brother?"
