Chapter 54- Catch cold

Lisa's sleep was disturbed by the bright sunlight coming through the crack of the curtains. She rubbed her eyes and opened them slowly. She lazily set up on the bed, yawning widely.

When she saw the bright sunshine she realized that she overslept. 

"Oh no, I am late. Aaa choo...."

She grabbed the phone to see the time, but she found out that the call was still connected. Her eyes went wide in surprise. She remembered Carl Black telling her last night that he wouldn't disconnect the call until she fell asleep. She put the phone on her ear to check if he was still on the line or not.

The moment she kept the phone in her ear, she heard his familiar deep voice, "Good morning, love."
