The clock shows 08.00 AM.

Alex woke up from sleep and did not see Adaline in the room.

When checking his cellphone, he got a chat from Adaline who told him that she and Mrs. Caroline has been going to the hospital since 06.00 AM to see Chris and Aaron.

Alex immediately got up from bed with a happy smile because Adaline and Mrs. Caroline weren't home. That means he can carry out his plan now.

He goes to wash his face. After that, go to the warehouse and pick up some important equipment to be used.

He put the equipment in his trouser pocket and then went to Mrs. Caroline's room.

When he got there, he immediately damaged the electrical plug cable that Mrs. Adaline often used.

The William family has provided a very high-quality education for Alex. It made Alex have many abilities, including understanding electricity.

Alex understands every electrical problem. That is why he can also make electricity go haywire.

“Finished! After this, I will soon hear the news that makes me very happy, that is the death of Mrs. Caroline,” said Alex with a smile.

After completing his evil plan, he went to take a shower and then went to the William family home to meet his adoptive parents.

“Good morning, Mom and Dad,” Alex greeted with a smile when he arrived at the William family's house.

“Alex.” His parents immediately smiled at his arrival.

Alex hugged and kissed those who were sitting watching television.

“How are you, Dad? Is your leg getting better? Sorry, I can only come here to see you now.”

“Daddy's leg is getting better, Son. Daddy is also able to walk normally again. The plan is that later this afternoon, Mommy and Daddy will visit Chris,” replied Mr. Justin William.

Two weeks ago, Mr. Justin had an accident. He fell while repairing a leaking roof tile.

This injured both of his legs so he had to rest for several days. That's why Alex's adoptive parents haven't been able to visit Chris until now.

Now, Mr. Justin's leg is getting better and he can walk normally again as usual.

“We can go together, Mom, Dad. We'll go in my car.”

“Thank you, Alex,” replied Mrs. Luna with a smile.

“Why did you come alone? Where's Adaline?” asked Mr. Justin.

“Adaline and Mrs. Caroline have been going to the hospital since six in the morning.”

“Then, have you had breakfast, Son?”

“Not yet, I want to eat Mom's cooking. I miss your cooking, Mom.”

Mrs. Luna smiled at that. “What do you want to eat, Son? Mommy will make it for you.”

“I miss your spaghetti with tomato sauce and guava juice you made.”

“Okay, Mommy will make it for you soon, honey.”

“Thank you, Mom,” replied Alex with a smile.

Mrs. Luna then went to make the food that Alex wanted.

“How about your wedding, Alex? Are you happily married to Adaline?”

“Yeah, I am very happy married to her, Dad.”

Mr. Justin smiled at that. “Then how about your honeymoon?”

“Because of Chris' accident, we decided to cancel our honeymoon.”

“If your honeymoon is canceled, you better start tomorrow back to work, Alex.”

“Alright, Dad, tomorrow I will go back to work taking care of our company.”

Adaline was silent staring at Mrs. Caroline who kept looking at Chris with sadness.

They were now sitting together beside the bed where Chris lay in a coma.

“Please stop, Mom! Don't keep looking at Chris with such sadness. Mommy should be able to calm down. I feel very sad to see you continue to grieve like this.”

Mrs. Caroline paid no heed to Adaline's words. She kept looking at Chris sadly and wishing her son would wake up from the coma soon.

Adaline had said that several times. She had also asked Mrs. Caroline several times to go home and come back to rest, but Mrs. Caroline ignored her.

“Adaline,” called Mrs. Caroline who finally started to speak. “Mommy wants you to find two guards to look after Chris at this hospital so Mommy can rest in peace when we get home.”

“Guards to look after Chris? For what, Mom? There are plenty of doctors and nurses here, there's no need for us to hire guards.”

“Mommy felt very scared and worried if the Robertson family's only son came to this hospital without our and everyone's knowledge and then he killed Chris. Mommy doesn't want that to happen. So, I want your little brother to be looked after by two guards to keep him safe until he wakes up from the coma.”

Mrs. Caroline's words immediately made Adaline aware that the only son of the Robertson family could come to the hospital to kill Chris.

“Yes, Mommy is right. Alright, I'll immediately instruct my guard to find a guard who can keep Chris here.”

“Mommy will come home when you get the two guards.”

Adaline took a deep breath for a moment, then called her guard. After that, order him to quickly find two men who could become Chris' bodyguards.

Adaline purposely wanted a new guard. She did not take two guards from the house because the one who was at home had to stay at home to look after her family.

Adaline's guard does his job very well and quickly. In just one hour, he immediately finds two men who were ready to serve as Chris's guards.

Adaline and Mrs. Caroline smiled happily at the two new guards.

Now they can rest easy at home because Chris will stay safe at the hospital.

A few minutes after the arrival of the two new guards, William's family came.

“Mom, Dad,” Adaline said with a smile when she saw her in-laws coming.

Mr. Justin and Mrs. Luna smiled too. After that, walk up to them.

While Alex, felt very confused when he saw that there were two guards in the room.

“Honey, why are there two guards here?”

“I ordered them to keep Chris here on purpose, honey.”

“To look after Chris? This is a hospital with many doctors and nurses here. I don't think it's necessary to hire a guard.”

“Their presence to keep Chris here is very important because the son of the Robertson family could come into this room and kill Chris.”

“Gosh! It sucks! If Chris is guarded like this, how can I kill him here?” Alex said in his heart.

He was very annoyed because Adaline had made it even more difficult for him to kill Chris.

“Who is the son of the Robertson family? Why did he want to kill Chris?” asked Mrs. Luna who did not understand Bella's words.

“The Robertson family, that name sounds familiar to me. I think I've heard of that family name,” said Mr. Justin.

Alex was suddenly shocked to hear his father's words just now.

As Alex's adoptive parent, of course, Mr. Justin knew Alex's real family before adopting him as a child.

If Mr. Justin says that Alex is the son of the Robertson family, that would make Mrs. Caroline and Adaline suspicious of Alex.
