When Alex began to carry out his plan to kill Mrs. Brianna, the door to the room suddenly opened. As it turned out, it was Adaline's arrival.

She had just woken up from fainting and headed straight to this room to see how her mother was doing.

“Honey,” Adaline called while approaching Alex who was still standing in front of Mrs. Brianna with tears of disappointment. “It turns out you are here. You must be crying because you are worried about Mommy, right?”
