PROLOGUE

"Falling in love with someone whom I thought was destined for me and turned out that I will just play an important role in a few chapters in her life. The smile on her face slowly faded and diverted her stares to the ring.

Again I saw a bitter smile form on her lips and I felt a pang in my heart when she gave back to me the ring that symbolize my love for her.

Way back everything was great and circumstances kept on convincing me that she was the one when in fact I was just part of her, I love her but my love wasn't enough.

They said everything happens for a reason and all things work together for good. Yeah, but accepting the fact on how things work is not that easy. It takes time to fix what is shattered and It takes a brave heart to endure every painful experience.

I just wanted to be happy and I want to spend the rest of my life with her but fate is inevitable and unpredictable. Happiness has its price, it's forbidden to feel it because whenever you're savoring it, fate will suddenly revoke that and replace it with melancholy."
