Chapter 34. Road To A High-Rank Warrior

It's been a week after the incident in our pack is resolved and things go back to normal. The other warriors are back to training and I am feeling a bit excited to get a higher rank on the next test. My father has announced that I could join the other wolves in the competition to be chosen.

"Nelika, sweetie how was your sleep last night?"

My mother asked the same question in the morning every day as soon as I walk down the stairs. Damn, the three of them are already up.

"Good morning Mom, and Dad! Good morning Zed!"

My baby brother wiggles his tiny knuckles at me when he recognizes my face and my voice.

"Morning Nelika! Excited about the training?"

I nodded and took a sit beside my mother at the dining table as Laura served me a fresh plate of omelets and French toast.

"Thank you, Laura."

The old woman smiled at me before she answered.

"Eat up sweetie, I heard you are doing it well with the warriors and you will participate in the competition to get the higher rank."
