"What do you mean for his ex-wife?!" I replied, causing the kids to jolt at the sound of my voice.

This was totally rubbish. Why was he bringing her to the house? "Is Trent aware of this nonsense?"

She shook her head, " No, I don't think so. I think it's intended to be a surprise to him too. She is basically coming to cause trouble which I wish can be prevented because I don't even know what to say."
