Chapter 50: Why you?

The council of the Bailey’s pack had an unusual meeting that day.

Marcus rushed out of the home. He barely remembered to leave Giselle a note or a message. He was in a rush. It was a miracle that Marcus remembered to put on proper clothes for their meeting before heading out.

His friends were in trouble. Big trouble.

He hopped in his car, calling Toby. The young fighter did not pick up his phone. Marcus mentally cursed at him. The head alpha switched to Ben, but still, no one picked up.

“Fuck.”

Marcus muttered out while he was driving to the packhouse, full speed.

The council members had already gathered, and in their designed seats before Marcus could come to the packhouse as always. Right then, their eyes were set on no other than Raiz, who had summoned this unusual meeting.

Everyone was confused as to why did the alpha summon the meeting? And what did it have to do with two other members of their pack?
