Today's the day

Emily's POV

Today's the day!" I giggled to myself. I reminded myself of my favourite childhood movie. It was the scene where the fish in the tank planned to escape to go back to the ocean only to wake up to find that the tank had been cleaned whilst they were sleeping.

I jumped out of bed to take a shower, waking Tyler in the process.

"Hey sweetheart, where's the fire?"

Smiling back at him, I said "Today's the day!" in the voice of Peach the starfish.

“You nailed that babe." Tyler grinned.

"We have so much to get done before this afternoon. There's not going to be enough time." I was now stressing myself out.

"Breathe Emily. Everything is going to be fine and will be perfect." Jenny's voice sounded in my head.

"What the fudge?" I shouted. Tyler looked confused. "How did I hear Jenny in my head when we are not part of the pack yet?"

"You’re not part of this pack yet, but you are both from the same pack."
