CHAPTER FORTY-SEVEN

Emily scanned the document before her, content as she sipped a cup of Mochaccino.

Her team had finally been able to pin the location of the sorcerer's underground club. She'd been out in the field gathering, more like scraping out every single information she could lay her hands on about his organization. It had a very complex structure that needed to be unraveled. From the information she was able to get her hands on, no one who worked at the club knew the sorcerer but he was said to attend the club each night.

There were also so many other arms of the club whose duties intertwined. A lot of people handled particular tasks and mostly didn't know about each other. For example, the person procuring drinks for a night wasn't the person who did it the next day. And that same person may be assigned a completely different and random task the next day. The workers were also said to have sworn a blood oath.

It was like a cult, with faceless leaders who donated large sums to keep it going.
