Blood, bind and blood.

The wedding festivities had finally ended, the grand hall now quiet and empty, the music and laughter became faint. Alejandro and I walked hand in hand through the corridors of the palace, the weight of the day’s events still heavy on my mind. But as we approached the doors to our chambers, a different kind of tension began to build, one that had nothing to do with politics or power.

Alejandro pushed the door open, revealing a room with a soft glow of light. The air was warm, filled with the scent of roses and something deeper, more primal, his scent. It wrapped around me and it was intoxicating and comforting all at once. My heart raced as he closed the door behind us, the sound of the lock clicking into place sending a shiver down my spine.

He turned to me, his red eyes glowing in the dim light, and for a moment, we simply stood there, staring at each other. The intensity of his gaze was overwhelming, but there was a softness there too, a tenderness that made me weak.

“Yolanda,” he

Alejandro didn't wait for the guard to finish speaking.Yolanda kept pace beside him, her face set in hard lines. Neither of them spoke as they went down the narrow staircase.Leon crept forward. His parents were acting strange, too quick, too tense. Something was wrong. The air grew colder as they went deeper underground. The smell of damp stone and old iron filled Alejandro's nose. Then they heard it, the sound that made even the veteran guards shift nervously on their feet."ALEJANDRO!" The voice wasn't human. It scraped against the ears like nails on stone. The king didn't slow down. He reached the heavy iron door at the end of the corridor and shoved it open without hesitation.Inside the cell, the Bone Lord waited. After years of being locked, the creature was awake and moving, his bony fingers wrapped around the rusted bars. His hollow eyes locked onto Alejandro the moment he entered."You came," the Bone Lord rasped. His voice sounded like dry leaves crunching underfoot. "I wa

  • Just an omega: The Lycan's mate.   The Bone Lord's awakening.

“You're going to lose again, old man!" Leon's laughter rang across the courtyard as he danced just out of reach, practice sword flashing in the sunlight. Marcus wiped sweat from his brow, grinning as he adjusted his grip on his own weapon. "Keep talking, pup. I'll have you flat on your back before—" "Before what? Before your knees give out? Leon darted forward, blade striking hard enough to make Marcus stagger back a step. The gathered soldiers and servants burst into cheers. “I trained your mother you know? and she's the queen, you're simply no match for me.” Leon glanced at his mother. From the balcony above, Yolanda leaned against the railing, shaking her head. "He gets that mouth from you, you know."Alejandro, standing beside her, snorted. "Lies. That’s all you." But there was no bite in his words just warmth, the kind that had settled between them over 16 years of healing. Below, Leon feinted left, then swept Marcus’s legs out from under him. The big man hit the dirt with a dr

  • Just an omega: The Lycan's mate.   A father's Pain.

The castle corridors felt too wide, too empty as Alejandro walked alone. Somewhere behind him, Marcus still stood in the courtyard, his broad shoulders slumped but Alejandro could not bear to look back as he walked to the room.He stood motionless in the center, his claws still caked with dried black blood from the interrogation. The fire had burned down, casting long shadows across the walls. Slowly, his knees gave way. Alejandro sank to the floor, his back against the wall. His breath came in ragged gasps as he stared at his bloodied hands. The Bone Lord's words echoed in his skull, “She had your eyes” each repetition another dagger twisting in his chest. His chest ached, a deep, hollow pain that spread through his ribs. His vision blurred, but he did not wipe the tears away. They fell freely, hot against his cheeks. He had failed. "She's gone," he whispered to the empty room. The words tasted like ash. "My little girl...my sweet..." And he had not been able to save her. A sof

  • Just an omega: The Lycan's mate.   Answers.

The journey back to the capital took three days. Marcus and his hunters dragged the Bone Lord through frozen grounds and rocky valleys, his chains were clinking with every step. The creature did not speak. Not when the mountain winds cut through his flesh. Not when his wrists started suffering from frost bite. His black eyes remained fixed ahead, his ruined jaw set in silence.Marcus preferred it this way. Each night, they bound the creature to a tree while the hunters took turns standing watch. The Bone Lord never slept. He simply stared into the darkness, his chest rising and falling in slow, steady breaths. Sometimes his lips would twitch, not in pain, but as if remembering some private amusement. Marcus would kick him then, not hard enough to kill, but enough to wipe that smile away. When they got to the castle, Marcus pulled the Bone Lord through the crowd as they cleared a path for him. The creature's chains scraped on the stone path. Its gray skin looked like old leather in

  • Just an omega: The Lycan's mate.   Bone eaters.

Marcus and his hunters had ridden for days, their horses struggling against the rocky paths. The wind howled through the passes, carrying the scent of snow and something rotten. They found nothing at first. No tracks. No campfires. Just endless stone and biting cold. Then, on the fifth morning, one of the scouts raised a hand. His nostrils flared. "Blood," he growled. "Fresh, do you smell it?”Marcus did. The stench hit him like a fist, rotting meat and wet fur and something far worse. Death. Recent death. They moved like shadows between the rocks. Claws slid out. Weapons were drawn. And there, curled in a shallow cave barely big enough to hide in, was a Bone Eater. The creature was alone. It looked up as they approached, black eyes widening in shock. No one ever came this deep into the peaks. No one sane. Marcus took in every horrible detail. The creature's gray skin stretched tight over it's bones. Its long fingers ended in cracked yellow claws. When it breathed, its ribs pok

  • Just an omega: The Lycan's mate.   Grief.

A month had passed since the throne was reclaimed. The castle walls, once shattered, now stood repaired stronger, fiercer, like the powerful Alejandro that ruled within them. The streets of the capital, once choked with the stench of betrayal, now bustled with life again. Markets reopened. Homes were rebuilt. The scars of war were healing. But the kingdom’s heart remained fractured. Alejandro stood at his war table, maps sprawled before him, marked with red ink where scouts had searched and found nothing. No trail. No whispers. No sign of the Bone Eaters. His claws dug into the wood. They couldn’t have vanished.Yolanda entered, their son cradled against her shoulder. The baby now named Leon, for the lion-hearted, had grown stronger, his tiny fingers curling around his mother’s braid. But his sister’s absence was a shadow over them all. "Still nothing?" she asked softly. Alejandro didn’t answer. His silence was answer enough. She exhaled, stepping closer. "The council is waiti
