Kathrine’s Point of View

As Kathrine slowly regained consciousness, her mind felt hazy and disoriented. The effects of the drug that had been slipped into her food were beginning to wear off, allowing her to gradually emerge from the depths of unconsciousness. Blinking her eyes open, she found herself in a completely unfamiliar setting.

Groggily, she took in her surroundings. Gone was the cold, damp basement where she had been held captive for what felt like an eternity. Instead, she found herself in a room that exuded elegance and beauty.
