I'm struggling and enjoyed the author's other stories. I'm going to assume that there is some connection to Apphia (or it is her) but if the punchline doesn't come soon I'm out. The story is costing too much and is like starting over. Nick on his own doesn't impress me. Jamila I have no interest in.

So many questions and so little answers. I just want Apphia back. Every one of the characters loved Apphia and so does the readers. There’s a saying that the customer is always right so please bring Apphia back.
