Chapter Ninety Eight: You're dumber than you look!

“You’re the most immature person I’ve ever met,” Charlotte fired back.

“Excuse me?” Sebastian asked.

“What the hell was I supposed to say to you? Sebastian, your father isn’t really a bad man and you’re misunderstanding him?” Charlotte said sarcastically

. “You don’t even like someone mentioning your father and yet you wanted me to have a conversation about him with you? How was that going to happen?”

“You didn’t even try and that’s the problem,” Sebastian yelled back.

Charlotte flinched a little as this was the first time Sebastian had yelled at her. She must havepushed him to his limits for him to yell at her.

She felt a little guilty for doing so but her anger was far greater.

“You found out about everything that happened when I was kidnapped. Why didn’t you also talk to me about it?” Charlotte quipped. “I’ll answer that for you. You’re a bloody hypocrite!”
