Chapter 19:What's her agenda?

Ezra's POV;

I went to serve the master the next day .

He only responded to my greetings and said nothing more.I was confused. Did I do something wrong?

I have only been doing what he asked me to do so what's wrong.

After I fed him and after eating I wanted to leave but he still ignored me. He always said something to me whenever I was here ,we even played a game at times so it was strange that he was acting this way.

"Did I do something wrong, master?" I asked. He said nothing and continued staring at the book he held in his left hand,he is most definitely ignoring me.

"Master" I called. No response.

"Do you want to get punished?" He asked, still looking at his book.

"I..... No, I just wanted to know how I offended you" I said. Chris tossed the book on the table.

"Why didn't you return back when Stephen left?" He asked. His question left me speechless.
