THIRD PERSON’S POV

Jason returned home late that night, exhaustion weighing down his broad shoulders like an anchor. His once-proud posture was slumped, and the sharp lines on his face seemed more pronounced beneath the dim light of the chandeliers. As he shut the door behind him, the tension he carried into the house was palpable, thick enough to suffocate the warmth that once thrived within these walls.

Laura, his wife, noticed immediately. She had been waiting for him, her heart restless ever since the whispers of Olivia’s suffering in the dungeons had reached her ears. Without a word, she poured him a glass of water as the dutiful mate and set it in front of him, her delicate fingers brushing against his rough, calloused hand and he relaxed a bit under her subtle, soft touch of his mate.

"You look exhausted," she murmured softly, watching him with the careful concern of a woman who had spent years learning to read her husband’s moods.

Jason sighed heavily, running a hand down his

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 212 A CHANCE TO THE FUTURE

OLIVIA’S POVThe air outside was cool that morning, brushed with the scent of pine and dew. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves, and the house behind me was alive with the sound of childish laughter and the clatter of Aria’s wooden tea set being laid out on the porch. But I could feel it—the shift. The kind of silence that always came before someone left.Derek stood at the edge of the garden, right where the stone path disappeared into the dense woods, the morning mist still lingering between the trees. His arms were crossed tightly over his chest, his shoulders drawn back like he was holding himself together with sheer will. He looked out into the trees like they were calling him, like some part of him was already deep within them—already halfway gone, waging a silent war I couldn't see but could certainly feel.I stepped toward him, my voice gentle, hesitant. “Leaving without saying goodbye?”He glanced down at me for a fleeting moment, then turned his gaze back toward the horizon.

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 211 WHEN LIFE GIVE YOU SECOND CHANCES

OLIVIA’S POVThings were finally… looking up.The war was behind us. The throne, no longer my burden. For the first time in years, the air around me didn’t carry the weight of expectations, betrayal, or unfinished battles. I could finally breathe. Finally exist—as me.Dominic had stepped into his new role as King with unwavering determination. It suited him. The weight of a kingdom sat better on his shoulders than guilt ever had. He was thriving, focused, and still found time to kiss the top of my head every morning as if I was the sun and he never wanted to forget how warm it felt.James had taken over as the Alpha of the Blackwood Pack—Dominic couldn’t be in two places at once, and though he’d begged me to take the title, I refused. Not out of fear. Not out of doubt.I simply didn’t want it.I didn’t want to be Luna. Or Queen. Or any title that would turn me into a symbol. I just wanted to be Olivia—someone trying to make peace between the fire in her soul and the wolf in her bones.

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 210 THE CROWN I NEVER WANTED

OLIVIA’S POVPain bloomed across my ribs as his claws raked down my side.I hit the ground hard, breath knocked from my lungs. The Alpha King didn’t relent—he pounced again, claws slashing, jaws snapping inches from my face. I rolled, barely dodging, the stone beneath me scraping my back raw.Blood soaked into my shirt. My limbs were trembling. I wasn’t healing fast enough—not in this form. Not when I couldn’t shift.I stumbled to my feet.Around me, I could hear the crowd murmuring. Some in awe. Others in disgust. Pity. Mockery. Whispers that the Phoenix was all fire and no fang.I locked eyes with Dominic. His hands were clenched into fists at his sides. Rage rippled through him like heat waves, but he wouldn’t interfere. He couldn’t. Not without disqualifying me.James was growling lowly, barely being held back by Derek. And still… I stood. The Alpha King’s wolf snarled and charged again, knocking me clear off my feet. My body crashed into the ground with a sickening thud. Stars da

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 209 TRIAL BY FIRE

OLIVIA’S POVThe towering spires of the Royal Palace pierced the sky like cold blades. Bathed in morning sunlight, it looked regal—untouchable. But I knew better. I knew this palace, gilded in illusions of honor and order, was built on centuries of fear, manipulation, and half-truths.Dominic stood beside me as the massive gates opened. His hand brushed against mine—wordless, grounding. Behind us, James and Derek followed with calm authority, flanked by our loyal guards. A silent army waited just beyond the border, cloaked in shadows and magic. Not to attack, unless forced—but to remind them that I was not alone. Not anymore. The royal court stood assembled in their usual opulence: long robes, ancient sigils, and expressions that barely masked their disdain. The Alpha King lounged on his throne as if this was all a game. His smug grin made my blood boil.Dominic stepped forward, holding the sealed scroll bearing forty-two signatures. Forty-two—enough to strip a king of his crown.“We’

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 208 A Vote for Redemption

DOMINIC’S POVI truly believed we were on the verge of losing everything. All of our careful efforts—the sleepless nights spent strategizing, the endless rounds of diplomacy, the quiet but determined calls for rebellion among the Alphas—it all felt like it was slipping through our fingers. Every delay from the council, every hesitation from the elders, weighed on me like a slow-burning fuse. And now, with time running out, it felt like the fuse was ready to ignite. The royals would demand their audience soon. And when they did, they’d expect us to fold—to bow our heads and accept their version of justice, their twisted sense of order. They’d want control. They’d want to leash Olivia.Make her a symbol under their throne, not beside it.But what they never seemed to understand—what they refused to understand—was that Olivia was never meant to be caged. Not by fate. Not by fear. Not even by love. Binding her was never an option. Not for me. Not for anyone.Even if I hadn’t been in the p

  • My Mate Chose The Bitch Who Hurt Our Baby    Chapter 207 MOTHER AS A MONSTER

DOMINIC’S POVThe waiting was the worst part. Each hour dragged on like a chain dragging through mud, and every time I looked at Olivia or the kids, I was reminded why I couldn’t afford silence—not now.Thirty-five votes.Five more. That was all it would take—just five more votes. Five more elders with the courage to stand up and strip the Alpha King of his throne. But I knew why those votes hadn’t come through yet. I knew the real reason for the delay, the hesitation, the silence. And I knew I had to be the one to fix it.Olivia hadn’t said much, but I could feel her restlessness in the way she moved, the way her eyes searched for answers I couldn’t yet give. She was growing anxious with the lack of progress, and I didn’t blame her. What I did blame was the person holding us back.Because in the end, it all came down to her.My mother. She had friends in high places—especially within the elder council. And though she was only a junior member herself, the influence she carried behind
