　　After breakfast, I left home and went to work.

　　I was so caught up at work. It was unbelievable how many things one had to do to be in charge of a product launch.

　　Although Melinda helped me plan and gave me a lot of guidance regarding skills, I still felt tied up.

　　My phone on the desk suddenly rang.

　　I didn't have time to check who it was. I put the phone to my ear and asked in a businesslike manner, "Who is it?"

　　"It's me." I heard a low male voice. Then he said, "It's time. I'm taking you to lunch."

　　I glanced at the time. Before I knew it, it was noon already. Yet I felt that I had just started.

　　"You don't have to pick me up. Tell me the address, and I'll go there myself." I didn't want to trouble him.

　　"I'm already downstairs." He didn't give me a chance to refuse.

　　More than ten minutes later, the car stopped at the restaurant. Blake held my hand and walked upstairs.
