Kaiser’s POV

“I think your brother wants to build an army” Lilian said, standing beside me.

I ruffled my hair, staring at Emery from where I sat. My brother is so strange and mysterious. Building an army for what course?

“An army?”

“He’s basically trying to gather every species together, and I don’t just think he’s after Emery because he likes her, I think he wants something else from her, like power or something,” she briefed, forcing me to crank my neck towards her.

“Power? Is he aware that she’s wolf-less?” I asked, and she took her lips in.

“I don’t practically know about that, but why he held me in captivity I figured out they were trying to turn her against you. Like they were attempting to spice up and feed her with some conspiracy lies so she would never intend to come back to you…” She sighed before moving close.

“I think Emery isn’t just who we think she is, something else is attached to it. Do you know, Axel has long known she will be your mate even before you met her?” sh
