"Esme, you are mine!"

I woke up when the sun had risen and its light illuminated my room. That dream again, that voice again that echoed like a monster. When I was 19 years old, I often had strange dreams.

The dream took me to a strange place, quiet, and dark, no one was around me. I seemed to be monitored by sharp eyes lurking behind the trees. If I walked closer, he disappeared somewhere. Who is he, I do not know.

"Esme, today's breakfast you officially become a student at university," said my mother who came into my room and told me to take a shower immediately.

After taking a shower, I was picked up by my friend. She has always been my best friend since childhood.

We both entered the car immediately and she was driving, her name was Thalita. Along the way, we kept talking about how the seniors dealt with us. Thalita was afraid of being bullied because her body was bigger than normal.

Arriving at the campus, I walked casually next to her. Everyone looked at us and gave a faint smile when they saw Thalita. I don't like seeing people belittle other people.

"Let's go that way," I whispered in his ear. Because the road we are going to walk is filled with girls who look beautiful and classy. I'm afraid Thalita mentally can't stand being ridiculed by them.

We turned around to find a further, quieter road but from the opposite direction there was a group of handsome men, maybe our seniors.

My head was down when we were about to meet each other and suddenly one of the men threw a basketball at me so I had to stare at him.

I raised my head and handed the basketball to him. His eyes were wild, and piercing, pulled the ball roughly and then said, "You must come to my party tonight, if you don't come then you will receive a punishment from me the next day," he said firmly and left.

Who does he think he is to threaten me? Thalita was still rooted to the spot. His eyes did not blink when he saw the departure of a group of handsome men.

"Hey, why are you so fascinated by those who look arrogant," I said to wake her up but she muttered, "Cool, he's my idol from today."

I took her hand and we kept walking to see the announcement. I don't know him, how can I go to his party, his house doesn't even know. Handsome is useless, if he is brainless.

"Do you smell something?" I asked Thalita. I felt a strong scent that pricked my nose, uncomfortable like an animal smell. I looked around me, and not a single wild animal was left unattended.

We walked to the cafeteria, after finishing one class's first lesson. A large canteen filled with many people. All eyes scanned our arrival from the front door.

My eyes met those of the man who threw the ball at me earlier. From a distance, he stared at me unblinkingly. I was surprised by the behavior of a man like that, even though beside him there was a beautiful girl who was hugging him. His hand gripped the girl's shoulder.

"Please," a waiter handed me a menu book. A little surprised to see the menu price list which is quite expensive. I chose just to order a drink while Thalita ordered a lot of food that could be eaten together.

After the food was served on trays and we walked around looking for empty chairs and tables. Everyone who was there noticed me and Thalita. A little soft talk almost whispered in my ear, "Beauty and the beast, must be the beauty is the servant."

The golden yellow-haired girl chuckled softly and flashed a faint smile at me when I glanced at her.
