6. Prophecy

The vampire kingdom is always in the dark. Clouds always cover the sun because they refuse its presence, which can burn their bodies. They don't know when it's morning and night. As with other immortal clans, they also rely on calculating the time of the country they make access to as a link between the dimensions they live in and the human world.

Noura is ready to go to the cafe. She always left early in the morning so that no one would see her who was suddenly in the forest near the cafe.

Noura to the human world through a magic portal in her mother's room, which her mother used to enter the palace without anyone knowing. The magic portal who can take users directly to their destination.

Who knows about the magic portal? It was just Noura, Carlen, Vander, Aaron, and Letizia.

"Princess Noura, sorry, I can't take you today." Vander, as usual, blocked Noura's path, which was being chased by time.

Noura rolled her eyes lazily. "Did you ever drop me off? Just yesterday, remember that!"

Vander grinned.

"Excuse me. I'm in a hurry." Noura left the unmoved Vander on the spot. Actually, Vander wanted to come in with Noura to take care of Noura, but Carlen wouldn't let him.

**

"Good morning," said Arva, who was ready to welcome visitors.

"Morning." Noura put her sling bag on the counter. "Alpha Leon?" She just realized Leon was standing beside her.

Leon being in the cafe was a common sight. If he is visiting Arva, Leon will accompany Arva all day at the cafe and help work as a waitress or cashier. Yes, Leon's schedule has been read by female cafe visitors. When Leon comes to help, his female fans will come. Making sales turnover increase sharply, of course, is very profitable.

"Good morning, Princess Noura." Leon gave a wide smile.

"Good morning, Alpha Leon." Noura smiled broadly.

"I have an acutely single friend; he hasn't had a girlfriend for hundreds of years. Maybe you want to get acquainted with him?"

Noura raised an eyebrow. "Is he a human?" Leon shook his head. "Who is he?" Leon only showed a mysterious smile.

Noura furrowed her brow. She was about to ask, but Arva called and made Noura cancel. She was curious, but she guessed it must be a werewolf. Does Leon have human friends or friends from other immortal clans?

**

"Princess Noura, I'll be going with Leon later. You know, he and I see each other twice a month." Arva took a sip of orange juice. Noura sat beside her. This day, Noura and Arva become servants. Expelled by Leon from the cash register because the man wanted to be a cashier.

"I know. It would be best if you got married quickly," said Noura flatly.

Arva laughed. Noura glanced in confusion, Arva's reaction if she said, 'you should get married quickly', surely Arva would laugh. What is so funny?

"When I get married, you will be alone. You must quickly have a lover. So that your eternal life is not always filled with loneliness." Arva whispered.

"You are very talkative." Noura scowled in annoyance. She doesn't like it when someone asks her about a lover. It wasn't that no one wanted to be with her, but because she was already betrothed to Vander. The reason is so that the pure vampire generation is maintained. Makes her unable to glance at other vampires. Her eyes could only look at Vander. She didn't like being forced like this, but what could she do? She couldn't refuse.

Arva burst out laughing.

Noura furrowed her brow. Looks like Arva is having a health problem today. Nothing funny, but laughs.

"Do you know about the witches' prophecy of 1150?" asked Arva after finishing the laugh, not knowing what caused it.

"Witch's prophecy?" replied Noura lazily.

"Do you know?" Arva nudges Noura's arm, which makes Noura almost fall if not restrained by Arva. This time Arva used her power.

"Yes, I know. Why?" Noura was indifferent. She had no recollection of anything in the witch's prophecy of 1150. She hadn't heard it in a long time. The last time she heard Ferin talk about the witch's prophecy was when she was a hundred years old. Ah, Carlen, her big brother, has also been busy looking for prophecy papers lately. She doesn't know why her big brother is looking for the prophecy paper.

"Do you know about the contents of the prophecy?" asked Arva seriously. She looked at Noura's face.

"About vampires and werewolves destined to be together?" Noura said doubtfully with knitted brows.

Arva nodded. "Do you believe that the prophecy will come true?"

Noura raised her eyebrows. Really happened? Does this mean there is a vampire who is the mate of a werewolf? It's normal for her. Several times Noura saw in the Appalachia Forest vampires and werewolves hidden behind rocks or among trees, whether it was making out or just having an intimate chat.

"Believe and not believe." Noura turned to Arva, who was strange for suddenly talking about prophecy. "Why are you talking about prophecy?"

Arva gaped when she heard Noura's unconcerned answer. What if later her brother came and said that Noura was his mate? Arva shook her head, not thinking about things that didn't necessarily happen. Surely her big brother can make Noura believe.

"Do you believe that witches are still alive?" Arva changed the subject.

Noura was silent. Her face was taken aback, then returned to normal. Noura put on a straight face. Arva's eyes did not turn away from Noura. While Noura was still staring out the window, seeing people walking and vehicles moving at a moderate speed.

A few seconds later. Noura took a deep breath. "I don't know the truth, but I've heard, and if I remember correctly, yes, there is one or more witches who are still alive, and they live in the human world. Pretending to be human." Noura spoke quietly.

Arva glared. Her guess was correct; Noura must have known something.

Noura tilted her head with eyes looking straight at Arva. "Why are you suddenly asking about that?"

Arva smiled awkwardly. "It's okay. I was just curious." Arva's answer did not satisfy Noura. What kind of answer was that? It was clear that Arva was very serious. Arva's face looks like she's hiding something.

Leon, from a distance, sharpened his hearing; he heard everything.  His eyes bulged.  Why did Princess Noura tell Arva everything?

Arva nodded in understanding. "But how to find the witch?"

Noura shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. Why do you want to meet a witch?"

"I want to find out more about the contents of the prophecy in 1150," said Arva honestly. She wanted to know the entire contents of the prophecy of the year 1150. To be honest, if Noura said the quote that was on one of the prophecy papers. Arva wanted to tell the contents of the prophecy paper that Dafa got from the Chugach Pack, but Noura didn't say anything.

Noura frowned; she saw Arva's expression was very serious.

"Why did you tell me?" Arva is confused. This was top-secret information, but Noura told her about the witch.

Noura was silent for a moment. Her eyes stared blankly at the table. To her, it was ordinary information.

Arva waited for Noura's answer.

"Indeed, right now, I'm risking my life. But if you and ...." Noura turned to Leon, who was standing in front of the cash register, and looked at the two of them. Leon gasped in surprise; he was caught listening to the two's conversation. "Leon," Noura continued. Arva glared at Leon, so Leon was eavesdropping? "If you shut up. I'll be safe." Noura smiled mysteriously at Arva.

Arva swallowed her saliva. Nora's gaze was very serious. Her eyes gleamed a little red; Arva could see it, even if only briefly.

Arva nodded. She knew there must be another purpose-made Noura told her about the witch. She would not disappoint the trust Noura put in her. She always keeps all of Noura's secrets.

Arva made up her mind. She was sure Princess Noura and Alpha can be together. She is ready to help her big brother to be with Noura. Yes, she and Dafa have promised they will support and do anything so that Orlan and Noura can unite.

***

"Alpha, are you going to meet her?" Dafa was sitting in front of Alpha's house with a warrior; he smiled at Orlan, who was walking out of his house to his car. Orlan looked at Dafa, who was sitting not far from him.

"Isn't that what you want?" Orlan said coldly.

Dafa smiled widely. "Good luck, Alpha. I will always support you, Alpha!" Dafa encouraged her Alpha, who finally wanted to meet princess Noura.

"Thank you, Beta, if someone looks for me later. Just tell me, I have a business to meet a client," Orlan said, then he entered his black metallic car.

"Don't worry, Alpha." Dafa smiled happily. He had never seen Alpha's face shine. All this time, Alpha's face had always been flat and cold. Dafa will always support and do whatever it takes for Alpha to be with her mate, even though she is the princess of the Appalachia Vampire Kingdom. Even though Alpha and princess Noura's names were written on the witch's prophecy paper in 1150 and they didn't know what would happen if they were together. But Dafa didn't care. He wants to see his Alpha happy with his mate.

Orlan stepped on the gas, left the pack, and headed for the human world. A faint smile was plastered on his handsome face. It was rare for him to smile happily like this. His heart was beating fast at the thought of Noura's face smiling sweetly at him. Even though it was the first time he met Noura, it was only for a few minutes, but the meeting succeeded in making him unable to sleep. He was thinking about his mate all day. Moreover, Jay kept shouting in his mind calling their mate's name. Orlan and Jay agreed they would both fight.

They decide they don't care about the witch's prophecy of 1150. The prophecy is only done by witches who don't have work.

It didn't matter what would happen if he and Noura were together. What was the reaction of the werewolf clan and the vampire clan, he didn't want to think about it.

"I will risk my life. If later, this relationship will lead to a third war. I will kill anyone who gets in our way. I will kill the pack citizens who reject Luna's presence, who turn out to be vampires. You can keep my promise, Orlan."

Jay said with all seriousness. He didn't lie. He didn't care who it was. Suppose something gets in the way of their relationship, and they refuse their mate's presence. He wouldn't hesitate and didn't need to think twice; he would definitely kill that creature.

Orlan smiled. Why is Jay being this romantic? Very weird. Where did Jay's annoying nature go? After meeting their mate, Jay instantly turned wise. Yes, although the cruel thoughts are still there.

Orlan could see in there. Jay was very tense and sat up straight. Usually, his wolf likes to lie down and roll here and there.
