Raven awoke with a start, “Fuck!” It was that dream again. Raven sat up in her bed, breathing hard, running a hand threw her dark hair. It’s been six years since the incident. Her parents had called the cops, because she was late coming home, and they finally found her in the alleyway.
Raven’s parents decided to move out into the country where it would be safer, after she was released from the hospital, where she had spent weeks recuperating, from the ordeal and therapy. They never found her assailants, even with the tattoos she described. When Raven was eighteen she joined the police academy, refusing to ever be a victim again. She wanted to be a detective, in hopes of helping others through similar trauma and getting revenge.
During her first couple years in the academy, one of the trainers, Marshal, fifty, turned out to be a hunter, and after hearing her story, knew she had been attacked by werewolves. They were alphas, only alphas wear tattoos of their pack. Raven was skeptical at first, but it didn’t take long for her to realize that horrors do stalk the streets at night.
Marshal had taken her on a hunt, and she knew from that moment she was going to kill those that had harmed her. Over the next couple of years, she trained as a hunter and got a job as a detective, through Marshal’s guidance. Yet, the job wasn’t all it seemed. The cases dealt with the supernatural world, handed down by those in the police force who knew of that world.
Now that she was up, she decided to work. Raven got out of bed, slipping on her clothes, and headed into the office.
As soon as she walked through the office with two coffees in hand, knowing that Marshal would be there already, he glanced up at her from his desk.
“You’re early Raven,” mentioned Marshal accepting the coffee.
“Couldn’t sleep, had the dream again,” mumbled Raven, sitting down across from him and propping her feet on the desk.
“You’ve been dreaming a lot lately. Does it have anything to do with what we’ve been talking about. Going back to the city it happened in?”
“Most likely, Do you think I’ll find them there?”
Marshall nodded, “Every couple of years, all the alphas get together, bringing the new Alphas in, and discussing alliances, territories, and such. That’s not the only reason you’re going though.”
“I know, there’s been a lot of activity there lately and missing girls, more than usual,” mentioned Raven. People have always gone missing in the city, but this was more than normal, and all females, not just the poor, but some wealthier ones too.
Marshal had got a message from an old friend, Scott, who needed some help in the city with the disappearances and some supernatural problems. Marshal had thought Raven would be of good use. He knew that she wanted revenge for what happened to her, and she was good at what she did, as a detective and hunter.
“What time is Scott expecting me again?”
“Not until this evening, anxious to leave already?”
Raven was silent for a few seconds, “I don’t know, but I think I’m going to head out soon. Maybe get a lay of the land again.”
“Just don’t push yourself too hard, and if you need anything, I’m a phone call away,” offered Marshal.
Raven stood, “Thanks Marshall, for everything. Just in case I don’t come back, donate my shit.”
Marshall chuckled, “Not if I go first, with not having you watching my back.”
Raven laughed, “Take care old man.” She walked out of the office.

Raven climbs out of the car in front of an old motel stretching. She walks to the office and saw a larger man behind the counter, bald head, “You Scott?”
“Yes ma’, you must be Raven. Marshal talked highly of you.” He waved for her to come around, leading her to a back room. All over the back wall was an evidence board, there were pictures of the missing girls, possible culprits, snap shots of the area where the crime happened.
Raven walked closer, eyeing up the pictures. Most of these girls were rather similar, long black hair, tiny structure, pale complexion, plump lips, and blue eyes. “I see our perpetrator has a type.” Raven turned to look at the possible candidates. Older men, rather beefy men. Her eyes landed on a younger man, probably a few years older than her. He looked strong, but his green eyes were soft. Raven pointed at the picture, “What’s his deal?”
“That’s Oliver Flemming, he’s not the one I’m after. It’s his father that I want,” replied Scott.
“You don’t have a picture of him?”
“No, he stays out of the spotlight, his son does most of the companies work, he’s the golden boy.”
“Golden boy?”
“Yeah billionaires, Oliver branched off from his father’s company and made his own, yet he’s still the face for his father’s.”
“If he’s the face, then he should also know what’s going on,” stated Raven, looking back at Scott.
Scott shrugged, “From what I heard, they have an intense relationship, a little rocky.”
“What’s his father’s name?”
“Stefen Flemming.” ‘Stefen, that was great.’ Raven shook her head, ‘common name, doesn’t mean it’s him…’
“You alright girly? You look like you saw a ghost,” joked Scott.
“I’m good, I haven’t eaten in a while, maybe I’m just hungry,” avoided Raven, she changed the topic. “Marshal mentioned you might have some intel for me too,”
“Ahh yes, I’m waiting on my associate to bring it to me. In the meantime, I’m glad you got here early. There’s a ball tonight with a good potion on these men attending. I want you to go in as a waitress for the event and see if you can gather any information. I also…”
Raven didn’t let him finish, “And you want me to dress up as one of them.” She pointed to the women.
“You are quick,” praised Scott. “You might even find one of your assailants there too. Half of these men on here are from werewolf pacts.”
“Really? Any with tattoos?” Scott pointed to a figure in the middle.
Raven moved closer to look, large, gray hair, beady little eyes. “That’s Leo Rambert, he has a wolf tattoo with a moon on his wrist.
The image of that night flashed in Raven’s mind, hand resting on the ground next to her head, tattoo clear, as he pushed into her deeply, ‘you like that, don’t you baby?’
Raven snatched the photo down, “When do I need to be ready?”
Oliver had gone home, washed off quickly, and changed into dark clothes and a ski mask. He felt silly, but he didn’t need anyone to recognize him, especially Raven. He would stay on the roof tops keeping out of sight. Luckily, he could see well in the dark, thanks to his wolf’s nature.Oliver made his way quickly back to the motel, he smelled her instantly. She wasn’t too far. He finally spot her on the main street, she looked angry and confused. Oliver wondered what happened to make her upset. He stayed to the edge following, he watched her go down an alleyway, stopping and looking around.A man came out a back door of a shop. Oliver tense, “Are you lost girlie?” Oliver relaxed the man wasn’t sending any malice vibes. But Raven froze when her eyes landed on the man.‘He was not a wolf, he can’t be one of her attackers,’ assumed Oliver.“Hey, it’s okay, I won’t hurt you, do you need help?” The man started walking slowly to her, then she reacted, pulling out a knife and screaming at th
Oliver didn’t want to tell her no, but the whole underground world knew of him, and he knew she wasn’t ready to know that he was a werewolf yet. “I would love to, but not tonight. Why don’t you stay with me tonight?”Raven stood up, pulling the key from the collar and opening the locker. “You can’t come tonight, but you want me to go home with you. Why not tonight?”Oliver had pulled himself together, running his hand through his hair, he had blotched up his request. “I rather have you in my bed relaxing, I have a big meeting tomorrow.”Raven slipped on the dress, “I don’t know about that. I think we’d be far less relaxed if we were in your bed. No, I need to stay consistent. If you wouldn’t mind dropping me off at the motel?”Oliver was silent for a bit, maybe he could watch her from above, make sure she’s safe. “Yeah, I can do that.”Raven smiled, “excellent.”Oliver changed and they left. “I’ll send you another outfit tomorrow, and I’ll pick you up at eight,” stated Oliver pulling
Raven walked over to the door irritated. She noticed Oliver’s tense stance.Trevor pushed his way into the room, “Are you okay Raven? I called and a man answered your phone. I was worried about you.”Raven walked up to Trevor, “Out.”Oliver wolf growled, “So, you’re her boyfriend?”“What?! Is that what you told him on the phone?” Raven jabbed Trevor in the chest, backing him up to the door.“You didn’t answer, I was worried. I didn’t know if you were in danger. I thought I’d get more information...” Trevor was reaching.Raven looked to Oliver, “Excuse me a moment.” Raven began pushing Trevor out to the hallway.“I can call security,” offered Oliver, Raven just looked at him. He dropped the idea.As soon as the door was shut, Raven laid into Trevor, “Trevor, stop following me. I spoke with Marshal, you took a two week vacation. I was going to keep you around, Marshal made me see that you could be helpful, but if you keep pulling this shit… Ugh… I’m so angry with you.”“I was speaking w
Raven pushed at his chest, she didn’t like how this was turning her on, it should be the opposite, it should be making her run. Was she more fuck up than she realized. “Let me go, I’m not yours and I don’t appreciate being treated as such. I go where I please and who I please with.”“If you’re going to be my submissive, you do as I say,” growled Oliver.“I don’t want to do it anymore, it’s going to your head. I’ll find another way,” she continued pushing. His lips found hers, he was kissing her, he didn’t know if this was the right way to go about it, but he wasn’t going to let her slip away. Raven eventually melted in his arms, fuck she was screwed up.They broke for air, and Raven glared up at Oliver “Why the fuck do I feel like I need you so much?”Oliver decided now was the time to explain the mate bond, he needed to be open with her, if he expected her to be truthful. As he opened his mouth to speak, he noticed she was starting to cry. “Raven… I’m sorry… if you want to leave…”Sh
After a few minutes, Raven rolled out of bed, “Mind if I use you shower to clean up?”“I’ll show you to the guess room. Take a bath if you like,” offered Oliver getting out of bed, not bothering to put anything on and walking to the guest room. Raven followed closely behind, watching his muscles move as he walked.“Damn,” breathed Raven as she walked into the bathroom, large soaking tub, walk-in shower, even a small sauna. “You sure know how to treat your guests.”Oliver grinned, “I don’t usually have too many guests. There’s towels and extra soaps in the closet, use what you like, along with some bathrobes.“Usually, I would turn something like this generally down, but this all looks too inviting. You might have to drag me out of here,” joked Raven running her hand along the top of the tub.Oliver walked up behind her, resting his hands on her shoulders, leaning down to whisper in her ears, his cock already hardening up again, pressing against her back. “I could always join you.”Rav
Once in the elevator Oliver glanced over at Raven, excited that she was there, he had thought he had ruined things last night, or was she only here because of the job. Either way, his wolf purred in contempt that she was here on his arm. “What do I owe the pleasure?”“I came to apologize about last night,” started Raven. “I guess I was still a little pissed off with not being able to speak with Bently. I know he has information I need.”“No, I’m sorry, I should have stayed in my lane,” apologized Oliver, now she won’t be able to speak with him, but hopefully Alvin got some information. Oliver’s mind went back to last night,“Boss, how’d you manage this, he’s an Alpha?” questioned Alvin once he arrived to help.Oliver shrugged, “I did it for my mate. They say a wolf can get strong when it involves a true mate.”“You found your mate?” Alvin seemed excited. “Is it that girl?”Oliver nodded, “This bastard raped her when she was younger. It seems he had other victims too. We need to clean
