The room fell silent for a moment with the weight of what the doctor said fully sinking in.

Dwayne turned to the doctor "What's her blood type?"

"It's O negative, a rare type indeed"

Anna, her voice tinged with concern, looked at Dwayne "Do you know anyone with that blood type?"

Dwayne nodded."I'm O negative as well"

After what felt like eternity the heavy doors of the ER swung open again and the doctor came out smiling "The surgery went well. We successfully delivered a healthy baby boy"
