Hundred and Twenty Three

After the banquet Melina and Dwayne bade some of the guests goodnight and soon they were on their way home.

Dwayne took a look at her and found her fully staring at him with those sexy eyes

" You know if you keep staring at me that way I doubt if I would be able to concentrate on driving" he said with sincerity

" Alright then " muttered Melina before leaning her head backwards to the headrest.

They got home and Pulling up in front of the house they noticed it looked a bit too quiet

Dwayne turned almost whispering to Melina "did you tell the servants to leave a window open or something?

Melina replied anxiously "No, everything was locked up when we left. What could have happened?"

"Let's check on the baby first."

She nodded softly "Something's not right."

He slowly opened the door, revealing a room that should have been filled with the warmth of their child. Instead, they were met with a scene that shattered their peace – the nanny lifeless on the floor, and the baby's crib empty.
