As early as seven o'clock in the morning, a knock came on my door. My lips tilted upwards as I needed no one to tell me who it was.

"Come in!" I answered and almost immediately, the door swung open, revealing Richard, whose face was radiant with a smile. He was holding a glass of milk in his hand.

Never had I been served a glass of milk in bed and I wasn't going to miss out on the excitement that comes from such a gesture.
