He felt like he had been deceived by Emma these past few days. He did not expect her to be so reckless, going to nightclubs at this hour! Does she even remember that she was his wife?

Emma smiled gently. It made Landon feel particularly awkward. He had thought that she was going to a nightclub when all she cared about was her child. Talking to such an innocent person, Landon felt ashamed of his dark thoughts.
