Chapter Fifty-Four.

I stared at the kid in front of me, who was looking at me with doe eyes. Only then did I notice that he was no longer wearing his silver armor, instead he was wearing his ordinary knight uniform.

I cannot see any bruises nor bandages around him. That only means he was skilled enough to avoid or kill his enemies. I'm also relieved seeing him unharmed, for pete's sake that's twelve-year old kid! My conscience won't be able to take it.

I might feel a little bit guilty for Zen because of the unexpected ambush by the bandits, but he's an adult. He can do it himself, he's not a kid anymore.

And I have deep affection on this character. Aside from Lord Ethan and Gina who was the main character, this is the third person I knew who was part of the novel. It made me slightly relax and breathe a sigh of relief.

Staying in this world almost made me lost in time and comfort. I even caught myself doubting if I was really in the book. I almost got scared because of the unknow
