Chapter Seventy.

Nina's POV

“The southeast really is different.” my eyes reflected a new scenario. It was very different from the busy Capital, but the people and establishment almost looked the same.

I saw a mother feeding her son a meal. It reminds me of my mother, my mom from earth.

She loved being able to cook and bake meals for her loved ones - thrived on taking care of the children. It was our nature to only be able to produce one child and even that was difficult for them, so Mama and Papa felt very lucky when their little child came along. Then when mother and father's work asked them to transfer in the city, Grandma who of course disagreed immediately. It may be the nature of our family to only have one child, that maybe the reason why my grandma was so overprotective of me and my mother, to be a mother and she'd always wanted a large family.
