Nina's POV

Everyone hitched their breaths. They weren't expecting someone this early. Even I was shocked when someone suddenly spoke.

I saw Kaiden pause his movements for a minute before a smile crept on his lips.

Strange you may say. It was not the typical reaction I had been thinking or imagining.

Everyone was quiet with the arrival of an unexpected visitor. No one made any noise because they were afraid that they would be the subject of the anger and attention of a famous and powerful person.

No one would like to pick up a fight with the infamous son of the Dukedom Emanuelle. Getting on their bad side is equivalent to suicide! Messing with big-name people is like wanting to have an early ticket to hell and the afterlife. Totally dangerous.

And I bet everyone is on edge right now. They are very careful with their movements and words, it was so weird because even their breathing was so weak that you thought they were dead, they were even all in synced in breathing! I
