Chapter Thirty Two: Close To Closer

They arrived at the clinic, which was close to the university. The nurse immediately assisted them. Gaby’s wounds were cleaned up, but her anguish was too much to bear. It seems already has a trauma. Clark put one hand out and remained silent until the seam was completed.

“Ma’am, here’s the antibiotic so the wound won’t get infected.” said the nurse.

Gaby smiled. “Thank you!”

“Ma’am, you two look good together,” the nurse said suddenly.

Gaby just smiled a little, but Clark was the fullness of the smile. Gaby didn’t even notice it.

“Let’s go!” said Gaby.

When they came to the car’s door, Gaby was even more surprised when Clark let go of her hand. Only then did she remember they had been holding hands since they arrived? That’s why the nurse was so pleased with both of them.

Gaby got into the car, and Clark turned his back and entered the passenger seat. The car’s engine immediately turned on and started moving away from the clinic.
