Nica’s POV

I spent my entire day with the gentleman. We had gotten along really well, and I was about to make him agree to my plan of taking Carlos away from Rebecca.

“So, what do you say about what I have said? Is it a yes, Jacob?” I asked him. He had told me earlier that his name was Jacob, and it stuck in my head right away.

“Ooh, about the issue with the girl? If it’s that, then I will not work for free. You must pay me something.” He demands. I did not like his tone, but when it comes to issues with money, I can pay him any amount. He just had to name his price. I just wanted the work done.

“How much do you want?” I ask.

“It’s not an issue about money here. I don’t want money; all I need is something precious.” He says as he comes close to me.

I thought that men like these had problems with money, since he did not look rich. He was just some low class, just like Rebecca. These low-class people sucked. But not Carlos. He is not that rich either, but I guess he is in the middle cla
