Ver másAiden watched his blood seep into the bowl full of things of which he’d rather not know the origin, and then looked at the oracle expectantly.
He had fulfilled his task, which had consisted of making a werewolf pack stay out of the oracle’s business, and it had been no easy feat… since as he was the US alpha ultra’s son, and this was considered Canadian territory, not messing things up was a priority. If he ever were to be the reason why the alliance fell apart, his father would never forgive him. Of that, he was sure.
Still, as he looked at the old oracle, waiting for clues as to what he wished to know, while ignoring the nasty smell coming from the bowl, he couldn’t help but wonder why he couldn’t have been given an easier task.
When she opened her eyes at last, she told him in a voice that didn’t sound like her own, “Follow Anastasia.”
“Follow Anastasia?” He repeated dumbly, wondering what the hell that was about.
“You got your answer, boy,” she then told him coldly, having recovered her normal voice, “Now, if you’d please leave me, I have a few potions to research.”
“What answers?” He bellowed. “You said to follow Anastasia, but who the hell is Anastasia? Is she my mate? How am I to find her? You have not given me any answer!”
“A clue is a clue,” she retorted calmly. “What you do with it is up to you.”
“I have not travelled all this way here, played your errand boy in making the werewolf pack bothering you back off, just to have this answer.” He was disappointed, but also angry, and he could feel his eyes changing to black. He was only eighteen after all, and had barely had two years of training as a wolf –seeing as he had changed at the age of sixteen. How was he to contain his anger really?
Before he could do something he would later regret, the oracle raised her hand and said a few words in Latin, and he found himself at the bottom of the mountain atop which she lived.
“What the hell?” He exclaimed.
“My only offer is to come back see me in ten years if you don’t find your mate.” He could hear her tell him levelly, almost as if she were near him.
“And don’t even bother coming back up before then.” She then ordered harshly.
Just like that, he was left to swear, alone on Canadian territory.

“How could you go seek the oracle without telling us?” Jonathan, Aiden’s father, reprimanded in a very angry tone.
“How could you not take me with you?” Jasmine, his mother, was almost pouting as she said that, and Aiden had to repress a laugh. His mom was such a big fan of the oracle, being a witch herself.
“You’re completely missing the point, love,” his father then told his mate affectionately.
“Well, I never got to meet her. You did!” She retorted accusingly.
“To find you. And it was no walk in the park.”
“Uhum, uhum,” Aiden cleared his throat.
“Right… What you did, worrying us like this, is unforgivable,” his father told him sternly.
“Is Aiden in trouble daddy?” A young boy who looked no older than nine years old, came into the living room, yawning.
“Nobody’s in trouble, honey,” their mom retorted. “Tell us, Aiden, what the oracle told you.”
“Rubbish,” he spat out. “That’s the clue she gave me.”
“Her exact words please?” His father demanded to know.
“Follow Anastasia were her words,” he informed them sheepishly.
“Okay,” his parents both drawled at the same time.
All three werewolves sported perplexed frowns for some time until Jasmine hit the palm of her left hand with her right fist in an eureka-like moment. “You’re going to Florida, son.”
“What for?” He asked, a bit dubitative.
“Be a little bit happy!” She admonished. “You’re going to meet Blake The Troublemaker’s daughter at long last.”
“Huh?”
“Her name is Anastasia.” She explained with a wink.
A/N: This is a sequel to The Alpha's Seduction (it's about their son). It's better to read it to understand this one. Happy reading ^^
Stanley P.O.V So, like Earle, many other males that fathered children outside of Matelock. Went searching for their pups and brought them back to the Packlands. But only if the child had an actual wolf present in them. If they were wolfless, they were either left alone or killed. But if the child had a wolf. Then they would do as Earle did and kidnap the mother and child. Earle marked Mom in hopes that she would provide him with more wolf baring children. But after many years of being unsuccessful. He killed her because she was of no more use to him. I was relieved to see her go. She was a ghost of her former self. And she was suffering mentally with what we both were going through. Her being forced to be a breeder. And me being beaten into becoming an Alpha. Before she died, she told me to never be like them. To choose my own path in life. Never give in to the peer pressure. But that is easier said than done. Not only am I looked down upon and put to the test constantly. By my sibl
Stanley P.O.V‘Alpha, the shipment of new Breeders has arrived at the gate.’ I received a Mindlink from an excited, unmated Omega male. ‘Okay, I’m on my way.’ I finish my letter to my ally, Ryn. Alpha of the Wild Timbers Pack. Attach it to a messenger pigeon, open the window and send it on its way. I look out over my Packlands. And see a dark past, and an uncertain future ahead. Even with the arrival of the Breeders. Ten years ago, back when I thought I was a normal human child. I had known very little about the Supernatural creatures that lived in our world. But arriving home from school near the end of my fifth-grade year. I learned quickly that these creatures were very real...~Flashback 10 years earlier~I walked into our apartment building and headed up the stairs. I spot two unknown men standing outside of me and my mother’s opened apartment door! Upon seeing me, the two guys sniff the air. Smirk and look knowingly at each other as if having an unspoken conversation. I heard ye
Khailah P.O.V I found myself getting smashed into the wall! Crap, not good! I can’t die yet, it’s my first assignment! I sort of knew what to expect and didn’t know what to expect at the same time! My job was simply to infiltrate the pack, discreetly set up my ‘fingerprints’ everywhere, and get the hell out as fast as humanly possible! Simple. Oh, and about these ‘fingerprints’, they are nearly invisible copies of my skin. And they have a nano-sized camera and microphone attached to them. Just think of it as the tips of your fingers shedding their skin and you can leave it anywhere and everywhere, undetected. Well, hopefully, they are undetected. You just never really know with wolves and their heightened senses. The fingerprints can also adhere to any surface. And can be created in seconds. The plan is so I can leave them in as many places as I want to without drawing too much attention to myself. By casually touching a wall, desk, chair, or window. At least I hope it doesn’t draw a
Khailah P.O.V The filthy and packed semi-truck that we were in finally came to a stop. At least 100 or so females are inside here with me. Some of the ladies were crying, yelling for help, praying, or mumbling incoherently. Some of the more recent kidnapped companions are banging on the walls. While yelling to be freed! I’m actually not sure how many of us are stashed in the back of here. There are no lights inside here and my cellphone battery finally died two days ago. We’ve been in this truck for almost a week now, I believe. The only times that they’ve stopped were to add more females. When my phone still had some power, I turned it on to airplane mode to preserve the battery. And used the flashlight to look around at my fellow kidnapped companions. I had recognized about four other ladies from my rebel group. I held up my pinkie finger to them. This is a sign of our promise to take the Lupine kind down by any means necessary! I had been walking home from work when I was capture
