CHAPTER 2: Commoner Girl

Present time, on the planet Earth:

Mukgu is living alone in a small apartment. Bathroom is near her room; from the left side. The door is beside the cooking area. Imagine that her personal computer is situated beside her bed; from the right side.

Mukgu’s parents died when she was young, so she is living her life independently. Mukgu is a messy girl. She doesn’t mind cleaning her room.

Mukgu gets up from bed and then sits on the sofa. The mini table is full of papers, envelopes and ballpens. She is busy writing something. “Yes!” She said as stretches her arms. She smiles because she is done with something.

“Yes! I’m done! I’m ready to give it to Blake!” She screamed while hugging her love letter and lied down on the sofa.

After a while, she leaves her messy apartment.

Outside the apartment she sees a couple holding each other’s hands. She stares at them and sighs. “How I wish I could have a boyfriend too, a perfect boyfriend.” Mukgu said and wished for herself to get a boyfriend.

She continues on walking, then she sees two cats on her way. She bends over and holds one of them. “Kyaa, you’re so cute!” She giggled.

“Even cats are happier with their lovelife than me.” She realized and said to herself. She then stands up and walks towards the bus stop.

After a while, a bus arrives. She gets in and she sees many couples.

Even here? Why are there so many couples? She shakes her head and smiles. Someday, I would be able to date Blake! Mukgu daydreams.

After 20mins, she arrives at her school.

A school for rich people. Mukgu is just a scholar there. She stays in a hallway, where Blake and his friends are always passing by.

Mukgu grabs her love letter from her bag. Her heart keeps on beating so fast. Ugh, I’m so nervous. Mukgu is shaking and feeling so nervous. She gulps and takes a long breath. “No,no! I can do it.” She said as she encouraged herself.

Many girls scream, indicating that Blake’s group has already arrived.

“Oppa! Blake oppa!”

“Dean oppa, I love you!”

“Kaizer oppa! Marry me, please!

“Hoonie-ah! Hoonie oppa! You are so cute!”

Those are the girls screaming their lungs out for them.

Mukgu’s heartbeat becomes faster, her eyes widen.

She is so nervous while sweating. Oh, God! They are coming!

Blake accidentally looks at Mukgu. Their eyes meet and that makes Mukgu feel more nervous. Oh, God, why is he so handsome! She thought.

They are about to walk across towards Mukgu but she blocks them. Mukgu stretches her both arms sideward. “Wait!” She screamed.

That causes a scene, many girls gather around Mukgu.

Blake raises an eyebrow. “What? Who are you? Get out of my sight!” Blake yelled at Mukgu.

Mukgu closed her eyes and bows at him. She hands off the love letter. “Blake, please accept my letter for you.” Mukgu said with her shaky voice.

Kaizer looks away and stops himself from laughing. Blake smirks and takes the letter. “This?” He asked Mukgu.

Mukgu then stands up straight and awkwardly smiles at him. “Yeah, yeah. It’s for you.” She replied enthusiastically.

Blake twists his mouth and then opens the letter. He reads it and his mouth forms an “o”. He then nods 3x.

That reaction makes Mukgu happy. OMG looks like Blake is happy.

Blake then holds the letter and shows it to Mukgu. “So, you’re giving me this letter huh?” Blake mocks her.

Mukgu is so stupid. She nods fast. “Yes, yes! Only for you!” She eagerly answered.

Blake gives her an evil smirk as he tears apart her letter into pieces. That also makes Mukgu’s heart torn into pieces.

Blake moves closer to her face. Mukgu’s eyes widen and she lowers her head.“I don’t need your stupid letter! You are so delusional! I won’t like you! Never in my life! Stop your nonsense!” He yelled at Mukgu. “I hate girls like you!” He added and walked across her.

Kaizer laughs at Mukgu as he passes by. “Hahaha, stupid girl!”

Dean just looks at Mukgu. He feels pity at her.

Mukgu bends her knees and picks the pieces of paper. While picking it up, her eyes started to water. Her feelings are so hurt. But someone helps her. Mukgu slowly looks up and it’s Hoonie.

Hoonie picks up the pieces of paper and gives them to Mukgu. He even helps her to stand up.

Mukgu takes all the pieces from him and keeps them inside her bag. She looks at him and smiles. “Thank you Hoonie.” She thanked him. He just looks at Mukgu, emotionless. “That’s nothing. Stop being dumb.” He said coldly and then left.

Mukgu watches him as he walks away from her. Hoonie looks nice. Um, even though Blake turned me down, I still like him.

“Oh, look girls!! The commoner girl is being dumped by Blake. Hahaha. ” Chichi laughed at Mukgu.

They approach her. “Poor girl. Blake only belongs to me!” Chichi bragged. She moves her face closer to Mukgu’s. “Excuse us! Hahahaha!“ She laughed and bumped her shoulder on Mukgu’s.

Mukgu couldn’t do anything about it. She thinks that they were right, she is just a commoner. But her love for Blake will never end.

At the cafeteria, Mukgu is alone at a small table. She is fixing her love letter using scotch tapes.

“Yes! Only one piece of paper left!” She happily said.

But Chichi’s group saw her. “Oh, the commoner girl Mukgu! Over there!” Suzette said to Chichi. Chichi smirks when she sees Mukgu from afar, “Okay girls! Let’s go.”

Mukgu is about to put the last piece of paper but Chichi snatches her love letter.

Mukgu gasps. Chichi, Suzette and Erica are standing beside her. Chichi starts to examine Mukgu’s love letter. “So, this is your love letter for Blake huh?”

Mukgu stands up and tries to snatch it back. “Hey, give it back to me!” Mukgu begged.

Chichi is taller than her. She raises her letter. “No, no. You can’t! Hahahaha.” She laughed at Mukgu.

Chichi then drops the love letter on the floor and smashes it using her killer heels. “Hahahahahaha, you are so stupid Mukgu!” Chichi continued bullying her.

Mukgu’s heart dropped the moment she saw what Chichi did to her love letter.

“Bye!” Then they left.

Mukgu picks up her love letter again and cries so hard.

Chichi, you’re so beautiful and perfect. Maybe Blake and I aren’t meant to be. Mukgu endlessly sobs.

Then she sees a flyer. She picks it up and reads it. “Want a perfect boyfriend? Please type this...” Mukgu stops reading it loudly. Huh? What is this?
