"Damn it, mother!" Stop this! I say irritably when she tries to fix my hair again. Her hands were fidgety and she had something to fix every five minutes!

I was already nervous and she was just putting more anxiety on me!

I look at my reflection in the mirror and feel reassured to see how beautiful she looks. The brown eyeshadow really enhanced my eyes accompanied by the nude lipstick. My hair got a modern, choppy cut, and although I miss my long hair, the new cut has brought a positive change in my life.

Looking in the mirror, I saw a new woman.

I get up from the chair, put on the velvety white pumps and admire the way the dress has molded to my body like a second skin. I never felt like “normal girls”, I didn't dream of a wedding since I was a child and I never imagined what my wedding party would be like. I also never dreamed of the perfect dress, so my choice was simple and quick.
