“Oh my gosh! You all came!” We all get engulfed by Zana’s overexcited mother. She releases us and grabs our hands, leading us further in. “You have a lot to tell me, girls. What a surprise! I totally didn’t see this coming.”

“Hehe…it was all my idea,” Zainab wears a smug look, earning a glare from me and Zana.

“Don’t listen to her. I and Yumi actually spoke about this while she was sleeping like a log,” Zana takes the sit opposite from us.

We hear the main door opening just then. “Wow, Hey guys,” Steven, Zana’s older brother and the Alpha’s Beta, waves happily at us as he walks in.

“Hi, Steven!” I and Zainab wave back and he plops down beside his sister.

“Alex and Claire just went out. Too bad for them…They just missed you guys,” He makes a small smile and I pout.
