Chapter 14

“Do you have everything you need?” Colton asked as we walked out of the house. I nod, approaching the car.

“Yes, you don’t have to worry. Our presentation will go alright, don’t fret.” I say, smiling softly at him. He nods, passing our bags to the driver who immediately goes to put it in the car booth.

It’s been five days since Jennifer came to the house to warn me from their parents anniversary and honestly I don’t want to go either.

We hopped into the car, already heading to the airport. Our flight leaves for two this afternoon. I glanced at Colton who was on a call, he has been extremely busy for the past few days which by extension made me busy too. Colton had a white sleeveless top on, a berry baggy joggers to match. His hair wasn’t styled or anything, he left it’s long and curly like it is. All in all, he looked exquisite.

"Yes, thank you, I appreciate it.” He says over the phone before cutting the call, leaning back against the chair.
